sometimes you just have to think about how in origins, they were just a group of strangers trying to stop the blight together. they didn't know who they'd become, that one of them might be king one day, another divine, the Arishok, or even the vessel of Flemeth. maybe one day they wake up in the quiet of night and wonder how they've come this far. maybe they write letters, maybe they don't even send them all. they're older now, but maybe part of them is still there, in that tiny camp, listening to Lelianna sing, sharing a pint and cheese, wondering if tonight will be their last.
