• Its revealed Stephen Miller and Elon Musk have had a very massive fight, supposedly because Elon Musk is sleeping with Miller's wife

• Trump ousts Elon from the administration, after over five months of being besties. Leaves with Stephen Miller's wife, who he just hired at one of his companies (!?)

• Elon starts saying the Big Beautiful Bill sucks

• A GOP Representative reveals that most of them didnt actually get to read the Big Beautiful Bill, GOP leadership basically made them rubber stamp it and they are pissed to find out it makes them all look horrible. A lot of them are now discussing a shakeup in GOP leadership.

• Trump says Elon has "Trump Derangement Syndrome" (🤮)

• Elon escalates massively, stating that Trump is in the Epstein files and THATS why they havent released them yet

• This comes right as Alex Jones loses a massive chunk of his audience because he's endorsing Trump's Palantir contract, and his fans are basically all very concerned about their privacy. They want a new conspiracy to follow and they just got one

• Trump starts threatening Elon's government contracts

• Ian Miles Cheong calls for Trump to be impeached immediately, and for JD Vance to become President. Elon Musk quote retweets this with "Yes"

• JD Vance was mentored by Peter Thiel

• Steve Bannon takes to Fox calling for the immediate deportation of Musk, and making SpaceX a public company

To those who may not know me or who Ezzideen is:

I am Boshra, and I’ve known Ezzideen for what feels like a lifetime. He’s one of the most selfless souls I’ve ever met, always putting others before himself, no matter the cost.

During med school, when anxiety would grip me before exams, Ezzideen was always there, sitting with me through those long, nerve-wracking nights. He never left my side, waiting for me until the very last moment when I would walk out of the exam room. His support was unwavering.

Last October, Ezzideen finally achieved his dream and graduated from med school. It was a moment that should have been filled with joy and celebration. Five days later, he returned to Gaza after 10 years to be with his family and share in that happiness.

But what was meant to be a celebration turned into a nightmare. He lost most of his family in the blink of an eye. The pain and grief he carries are unimaginable.

Ezzideen is not just a number, and no one in Gaza is just a number. Each one of them has a story, a heart that beats with dreams, love, and memories.

I am here, doing everything I can to help Ezzideen and the few remaining members of his family survive this war. I want to see them safe, and I want to see them free from the constant fear that now surrounds them.

The funds we are raising are keeping them going day by day, and we are also trying to collect enough to help them cross the Rafah border when the time comes.

"The substances behind the slimy strings from okra and the gel from fenugreek seeds could trap microplastics better than a commonly used synthetic polymer.

Texas researchers proposed in 2022 using these sticky natural polymers to clean up water. Now, they’ve found that okra and/or fenugreek extracts attracted and removed up to 90% of microplastics from ocean water, freshwater, and groundwater.

With funding from the U.S. Department of Energy, Rajani Srinivasan and colleagues at Tarleton State University found that the plant-based polymers from okra, fenugreek, and tamarind stick to microplastics, clumping together and sinking for easy separation from water.

In this next stage of the research, they have optimized the process for okra and fenugreek extracts and tested results in a variety of types of water.

To extract the sticky plant polymers, the team soaked sliced okra pods and blended fenugreek seeds in separate containers of water overnight. Then, researchers removed the dissolved extracts from each solution and dried them into powders.

Analyses published in the American Chemical Society journal showed that the powdered extracts contained polysaccharides, which are natural polymers. Initial tests in pure water spiked with microplastics showed that:

One gram of either powder in a quart (one liter) of water trapped microplastics the most effectively.

Dried okra and fenugreek extracts removed 67% and 93%, respectively, of the plastic in an hour.

A mixture of equal parts okra and fenugreek powder reached maximum removal efficiency (70%) within 30 minutes.

The natural polymers performed significantly better than the synthetic, commercially available polyacrylamide polymer used in wastewater treatment.

Then the researchers tested the plant extracts on real microplastic-polluted water. They collected samples from waterbodies around Texas and brought them to the lab. The plant extract removal efficiency changed depending on the original water source.

Okra worked best in ocean water (80%), fenugreek in groundwater (80-90%), and the 1:1 combination of okra and fenugreek in freshwater (77%).

The researchers hypothesize that the natural polymers had different efficiencies because each water sample had different types, sizes and shapes of microplastics.

Polyacrylamide, which is currently used to remove contaminants during wastewater treatment, has low toxicity, but its precursor acrylamide is considered toxic. Okra and fenugreek extracts could serve as biodegradable and nontoxic alternatives.

“Utilizing these plant-based extracts in water treatment will remove microplastics and other pollutants without introducing additional toxic substances to the treated water,” said Srinivasan in a media release, “thus reducing long-term health risks to the population.”

She had previously studied the use of food-grade plant extracts as non-toxic flocculants to remove textile-based pollutants from wastewater and thought, ‘Why not try microplastics?’"

It’s a personal tradition that I decorate my wheelchair each year for Pride and I’ve really gone big this year with a trans coloured floral theme.

hi everynyan, it's me again. sadly i have bad news yet again. not only am i disabled, and at the best of times my wages are 0.69 usd an hour, that's right, 69 of uncle sam's own cents, for a total of 180 usd a month, when the cost of living where i'm at is ten times that or more.

and not only do i need life preserving medication that costs three times my monthly wages.

not only this precarious situation means that i stretch food to the point where i eat once every other day or go days without a meal.

and not only do i support a mother who's undergoing a cancer treatment, today one of my neighbors told the power company that i was "stealing her electricity" and now the lights are completely out.

so once again i come pleading and begging to all of you for anything you can spare so i can bring the lights back on for good and afford my medication. please, even if you can't share anything, share my post around so that it might reach others. i know you don't like seeing them, and i don't like begging as well, but this is the only resort still available to me.

My name is Ahmed, I’m 20 years old, and I’m from Gaza City. I used to dream of a peaceful life, completing my education, and getting a job, but the war has turned that dream into something impossible 💔😭. We lived through this massacre in every painful detail, and we are still in pain 😔. We were so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in the north of Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the south of the Strip. After we fixed a small room in our destroyed house to live in and start over, unfortunately, the war returned, stronger than before 💔. Now, we have no shelter and no source of income. We have exhausted all our savings during the war. I know that I started my campaign very late, but that’s because there is no other way to help my family 🙏. I am fully confident and hopeful that someone here will help us as much as they can and save my family in these difficult circumstances 😔.

I know that the feeling of starting from scratch is painful and frustrating, but I hope to receive any amount for my family 🥺🙏.
