Carlo : Getting back to women who are drawn to serial killers and mass murderers, what are your feelings about that? Why do you think that happens?

Richard : Women...when I was on the street, I was a loner. I stayed to myself. I really had no contact with people. It’s only been since I’ve been in prison that I have really developed relationships with people, and mostly women, though I now see that they have feelings, they have emotions...I mean, i always did but I suppose I locked it out most of the time. I didn’t think about other people’s feelings and needs.

Carlo : These women that you’re making reference to, do you think they were drawn to you because of your notoriety?

Richard : Oh, they’re drawn to me for all sorts of reasons.

Carlo : Such as what, Richard?

Richard : To get something out of me. To question me. Maybe they’re intrigued by murder or murderers...some are religious, some are sympathetic—you know, they have sympathy for me. Some come just so they can tell their friends they came and talked to me. They’ve come to me from different walks of life, these women.

Dean Corll

Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Christmas Eve 1939, Dean Corll aka ‘’The Candyman’’ was considered one of America’s worst serial killers of that time, often likened to fellow serial killer John Wayne Gacy for their mutual obsession with young males and their closeted homosexuality.

Despite suffering from a heart condition Corll joined the Army in 1964. This is said to be where he encountered his first sexual experience with a man, in turn causing him to realise that he was homosexual. He was granted honorable discharge after just 10 months of serving.

His Mother owned a sweet shop and Corll often handed out sweets to his favourite young boys, earning him the nickname ‘’The Candyman’’. After the sweet shop had shut down for good Corll became an electrician at the Houston Lighting and Power Company. He befriended two young men, David Brooks and Elmer Wayne Henley, who became his partners in crime, sodomizing and murdering young boys.

On the 25th of September 1970 at the age of 31, Corll claimed his first known victim, hitchhiking 18 year old University of Texas Student Jeffrey Konen.

Most of Corll’s victims were middle class boys that came from rough areas of Houston such as ‘’The Heights’’ where his crimes were less likely to be investigated. Ten days before Christmas two teenage boys, Danny Yates, 15, and James Glass, 14, were lured to Corll’s apartment and strangled. Another double murder occurred on the 30th of January 1971 when Corll killed brothers Donald, 17, and Jerry Waldrop, 13. Four more victims were claimed in 1971, including a former employee of the Corll sweet shop.

The killings continued into 1972. On May 21st he murdered Billy Baulch, 17, who had also worked for Corll. Billy’s friend Johnny DeLome, 16, was brutally killed the same day having been shot in the head and strangled by Henley. On July 19th 1973 Corll murdered Billy Baulch’s younger brother Tony, 15.

Corll’s modus operandi was to give Brooks and Henley $200 to lure young boys to his home where he would give them drink and drugs until they passed out. They were then stripped, strapped to a board and sodomized and tortured until they were murdered - sometimes days later. One investigator revealed that a victim had his ‘’pubic hairs pulled out one by one, a glass rod shoved up his penis and a large bullet-like instrument pushed up his rectum’’.

Aftermath:

The murders ended on August 8th 1973 when 17 year old Henley telephoned the police to confess, ‘’I just killed a man…’’ His victim was Corll who he had shot 6 times in the head, back and shoulder. Police at first refused to believe Henley’s story of serial killing but were eventually convinced when he told them the names of the boys who had been missing and led them to Corll’s boatyard where some of the victims bodies had been buried.

In August 1974 Henley was sentenced to life imprisonment but in December 1978 his conviction was overturned. He was retried in june 1979 and again sentenced to life. Brooks received a life term in march 1975.

M.O: His victims were between 13 and 20 years old, using Brookes and Henley to bring him boys, he would then lure them to his house for a party with alcohol and drugs. Once in Corll’s bedroom they would be stripped naked and tied to a plywood board to be tortured. The tortures and rapes could sometimes continue for even days. Eventually they would either be strangled or shot with a .22 calibre pistol. The bodies would then be wrapped in plastic sheets and buried in a boathouse in Southwest Houston, near Lake Sam Rayburn. Often he would keep his victims keys as trophies.

Facts About Alec McKinney

One of the two Highlands Ranch STEM School shooters.

-He is sixteen

-He is (presumably) bisexual, as he attended prom with a female but dated a male in the past

-He is a drug addict who used cocaine, marijuana, and Xanax

The Menendez Brothers Trial Part 1

If you have tik tok but haven’t been aware about what’s going on in true crime. There have been a lot of videos of people demanding the Menendez Brothers to get set free. This is very interesting and something I want to talk about so I decide to make this thread. The Menendez Brothers are Lyle and Erik who murdered their parents, Jose and Kitty Fernandez on August 20th 1989. Lyle was 21 while Éric was 18. Before we go into detail as why they kill their parents, let’s look into their childhood. Erik Menendez was born on November 27 1970 while Lyle Menendez was born on January 10 1968. Their father Jose was a self-made millionaire who was very controlling of his sons and expect high expectations on them.

Pamela Bozanich was the prosecutor who created the theory that the menendez brothers killed their parents for the inheritance. She also didn’t think they were abused but couldn’t prove evidence:

While many witnesses including families, friends, neighbors and former employees testified about witnessing or hearing about the abuse. Jurors went with Pamela Bozanich’s theory that they did it get the money. One of this being with the tapes that were sent to the police by Dr. Oziel’s mistresses. However Dr. Burgess believe the menendez lied on those tapes because they couldn’t trust Dr. Oziel about the abuse.

AH yes, this is me writing... just writing, nobody technically did anything, just i felt like throwing out my thoughts - this is a wierd time, wierd life, wierd existence. As i sit here (partially drunk w. a screwdriver) i think a lot. Think... Think... that's all my life is, just shitloads of thinking... all the time... my mind never stops... music runs 24/7 (xpt for sleep), just songs i hear, not necessarily good or bad, & thinking... about the asshole [edited] in Gym class, how he worries me, about driving, & my family, about friends & doings with them, about girls i kno (mainly [edited] & [edited]), how i kno i can never have them, yet i can still dream... I do shit to supposedly 'cleanse' myself in a spiritual, moral sort of way (deleting the 'limits' on my comp, not getting drunk for periods of time, trying not to ridicule/make fun of people ([edited]) at school, yet it does nothing to help my life - moraly. My existence is shit. a lot on the past though... ive always had a thing for the past - how it reacts to the present & the future - or rather vice versa. I wonder how/when i got so fucked up... my mind, existence, problem - when Dylan Benet Klebold got covered up by this entity containing Dylan's body... as i see the people at school - some good, some bad - I see how different i am (aren't we all you'll say) yet i'm on such a greater scale of difference (as far as I kno, or guess) I see jocks having fun, friends, woman, LIVEZ or rather shallow existences compared to mine (maybe). Like ignorance = bliss - they don't know this world (how I do in my mind or in reality, or in this existence) yet we each are lacking something that the other possesses -- i lack the true human nature that Dylan owned, & they lack the overdeveloped mind/ imagination/ knowledge tool I don't sit in here thinking of suicide gives me hope, that i'll be in my place wherever I go after this life. that ill finally not be at war w. myself, the world, the universe - my mind, body, everywhere, everything at PEACE... me- my soul (existence). & the rotine - is still monotonous, go to school, be scared & nervous, somewhat hoping that people can accept me... that i can accept them... the NIN song Piggy is good for thought writing... Karla Homolka is a Canadian serial killer who is responsible for the rape and murder of 3 young women with her husband Paul Bernardo. The sick married couple would lure young women back to their house so that Paul and Karla could drug them, rape them and assault them. The pair preyed after young women as Paul was disgusted that Karla wasn’t a virgin and he wanted to have sex with only virgin women. The pair even drugged and killed Karla’s own younger sister, Tammy. Karla was given a reduced sentence of just 12 years and was released in 2005, she is now a free woman living in Quebec.

Since her release from prison, Karla has remarried and had 3 children of her own, despite being given a dangerous offender designation. Her sentence was reduced to just 12 years in a plea deal whereby she would testify against her husband Paul. She testified that she had been abused by Paul and that she was an unwilling participant in the murders. Paul Bernardo was eligible for parole as of October 17th 2018, luckily this has been denied so far.
