FAMILY VACATION

-a memorable experience

Our 2022 family trip to Baguio City, Philippines, was a fun escape filled with laughter, stunning scenery, and cherished moments with my favorite cousins and family. The fresh mountain air was a welcome change from the usual humidity, and the city's beautiful atmosphere immediately put us at ease. We stayed in a cozy cabin hotel amongst pine trees, its warmth and comfort providing a perfect base for our adventures.

Days were spent exploring the city's many attractions. We visited the iconic Burnham Park, enjoying leisurely strolls along its scenic pathways and renting a swan boat for a very fun ride across the lake. The beautiful and fragrant flowers at the Baguio City Public Market filled our senses with their color and fragrance, while the cool climate made browsing the local crafts and produce a refreshing new experience. We feast ourselves in the city's famous strawberries, savoring their sweet, juicy flavor. Evenings were often spent at Session Road, soaking in the lively atmosphere and enjoying delicious meals at local restaurants, and finding local thrift stores.

One of the highlights was our visit to Mines View Park, where we were mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the Cordillera mountain range. The fresh mountain air and the stunning scenery provided the perfect backdrop for countless photos and unforgettable memories. We also spent time visiting a local museum. The shared experiences, the beautiful scenery, and the constant companionship of my loved ones created a spread of memories that continue to warm my heart.

Beyond the planned activities, the simple moments were just as memorable. Sharing stories and laughter around the fireplace in our cabin, playing card games late into the night, and simply enjoying each other's company. These quiet moments, solidified the bonds of family and friendship. Our Baguio City adventure was a perfect blend of exploration and relaxation, a testament to the joy of family time and the beauty of the Philippines.
