Just a casual update on the next darling chapter. It's currently at 7k lol but nowhere near finished. I want to get this whole thing in as there's not really a good stopping point in it to split it up.

It's coming slowly partially cause I got a concussion in November, partially cause my students this year are exhausting and leave me with little energy to write, and partially because I've been having more migraines than usual.

But anyway. It is slowly coming and it will be a hella long chapter at this point by the time it's done lol

Okay so I went to a Marianas Trench concert last night and aside from being fantastic it also gave me big darling motivation cause 90% of their songs give major darling vibes and now that I've finished writing report cards my next goal is finishing the next darling chapter so after I get home tonight I'm gonna try and crack a bunch of it out. I am also getting over a concussion though so like idk how long I'll be able to type at a time but it's gonna get done!

I have some things that happened in the bunker and my question is would you rather see these as flashback scenes a la Here's What You Missed On Glee In The Bunker or would you rather they come up just in conversation later on and maybe not happen if they don't naturally come up in conversation? If I do flashbacks, chances are they'll still talk about most of them with Clarke and/or Murphy at some point too.

Okay so next chapter of darling is gonna have to be on pause for a few weeks. I found out on Wednesday last week that I got hired for a teaching position which means I had 6 days to set up a classroom and also prep for the first week of school and then the next couple weeks will be spent figuring out general stuff for the school year and also getting into a better sleep schedule lol. On top of that I have a book club meeting next week and have like 300 pages to read before I'm ready for that so like free time will not be happening probably until late this month. Once I'm caught up on work stuff though I should be good to go for writing

Murphy: "Miller? Clarke and the kids and I spend literal years digging your asses out and Miller gets all the credit? Girls, are you hearing this?"

Madi: "Uncle Miller only opened the lock. That's the easy part. We did all the work, not him. He doesn't get credit for anything."

Seph: "I'll bite his face off!"

Murphy: "That's a little extreme, Seph. Rein it in a bit kid."

Seph: "I'll poke him in the butt!"

Murphy: "Better. Keep an eye on your butt, Miller. She means it."
