It was brought to my attention tonight, by one of my close friends and regular players, that WotC has scheduled the entirety of D&D D&D Celebration to fall within Rosh Hashanah, one of the two holiest day in Judaism.
For a company that's been having, shall we say, Issues, with inclusivity lately, this is, at best, a Massive Oversight, and at worst, deliberately antisemitic.
For those unaware, it is forbidden, on Rosh Hashanah, to engage in labor or "mundane activities," and instead one should focus on spiritual pursuits. Because of this, our more observant Jewish friends are being excluded from what should be a celebration of a game open to everyone.
To that end, if you can, please, contact Wizards, and let them know how wrong this is. If we've learned anything this year, it's that we all need to look out for everyone, and that most thi gs can be rescheduled.
Thanks for your time.

As we move toward future elections, we must remember the three essential questions that must be asked of all elected officials:
1. In whose interest do you exercise your power?
2. To whom are you accountable?
3. How do we get rid of you?
The ONLY acceptable answers are. "My Constituents" and "Simply by voting." Any, and I mean ANY other answers should lose them your vote.

Would it be a dick move to say a Warlock player's patron was never actually who he thought it was/said it was at character creation?

When you're building an AD&D campaign because you're a sadist, and remember that the system had some pretty dumb ability requirements, but your brother had handwritten notes on how to generate those stats.
