Vessels

When I close my eyes and visualize this bowl of eggs I could see a vibrational overlay this likely happens when our brains are closing down and getting tired at first it was reds I could see probably due to our eyelids and blood vessels, however I quickly found that if I meditatated with the sound and colour of a crystal clear water I could see the ripples and found it calming so the overlay used whilst editing was chosen to give a sense of water. I would have loved to have this bowl of eggs float down a river bank or sitting in a tree however sadly I didn't store it in a safe place and the kids got hungry .
Next time I think I will take more time to really look at a variety of landscape options when working with photography .
Using editing really just doesn't give the right results I was looking for and feels still out of reality.

However I do think its giving me more of the skin , vessels and vein like textures again.
The bottom left picture could also have been hand drawn and painted which I think I should have another go at in going forward.
I have noticed that I didn't do much with paint and maybe revisiting basic drawing could help me achieve a better quality outcome.

Left over film wrapping, bowl and heat gun to shape.
Sturdy little bowl.

Continuing to use only what is available and packaging , I used a heat gun to mould more vessels in an attempt to create chihuly inspired vessels.
Colours can be added, I look to source other materials that will create forms using inly heat .

As there has been extended date for submission, I have looked into chihulay a little more alongside colour theory.
I intend to continue studies with this in mind .

Watercolours were ok for a first look , however I think I prefer the printing inks or maybe acrylics would work better.
Here I used my fingers to create some colour then applied the sellotape to see how much of the colour would stay on the sellotape surface.
I do love a tick tock. The social interaction and the hilarious videos act as restbite but can end up consuming too much time .
Using only my phone I found it an intresting platform for editing however this may have not been the best editing options. I do hope to continue looking at more digital applications and software upgrading to use of a laptop.

Drinks in the garden .
I didnt know it was a party 馃槼

The shadows look so much like skin I didn't notice this when I started looking at the sellotape. Future studies could be combined with this project even the prints of my fingers that become imprinted on the tape could be something to explore further.

Shadow bottles. The texture from the lino gives a lovely shadow/shaded tone on the bottles.
There are also some 1 linear markmaking representing the weird and wonderful shapes of bottles.

To make these more interesting I began looking at glass texture and compared it with the sellotape structures. With very little effort using an editing process I could see the texture left behind looking more and more like skin cells. I enhanced some of the image and thought about sunlight shining through.

Intresting movement and flow quite satisfying to watch the particles of the bag move , soften and become malleable thus creating a new form .
Its movement and its shape reminded me of the cane glass work by chihilua .
