Healthcare Procurement Solutions
Getting procurement right is crucial for healthcare facilities to meet patients’ medical needs on time. But the industry is struggling to overcome procurement inefficiencies and gaps that can lead to costly errors and supply chain disruptions.

One of the most common errors in procurement is failing to establish clear guidelines and best practices, resulting in fragmented workflows and missed optimization opportunities. Fortunately, implementing an automated system can streamline your procurement processes, improve data accuracy, and reduce costs. Moreover, custom expense management software can easily integrate with your existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) and account systems to automate the transfer of information, thus minimizing human error.
Balancing cost optimization and patient care and safety standards is another major challenge faced by procurement professionals in healthcare facilities. This is why it is important for them to gather and evaluate all the information about a particular solution, including product datasheets, studies and white papers, MSDS documents, pricing plans, etc. Once they have the required information, they can then negotiate with suppliers to achieve the lowest price possible.

Contract Management Process Flow Chart
Contracts are not just legal documents, but vital business tools to drive sales and revenue. To make the most of them, you need a process to help you manage them throughout their life cycle, from negotiation and drafting through to execution, compliance monitoring, and renewals. A contract management process flow chart is a graphic representation of your overall workflow for getting contracts approved, signed, and executed.

It's easy for bottlenecks to emerge during the process of contract management - especially when seeking approval from management, or even from other departments or individuals in your company. Ensure you have policies in place to confirm the order and timing of these reviews, and that the right people receive your contracts at the right time. Streamline the review and approval process by setting up parallel or serial workflows that can be triggered automatically or manually, depending on your policy. Keeping track of all the sign-offs is also key, and a Kanban view like this one from Juro can work great for teams (especially those who are juggling many contracts at once).
youtube
Contracts don’t exist on an island, and the processes that take place post-signature should be a supportive enabler rather than a blocker to your business. Managing these processes should include ensuring that legal has oversight, but that other teams have access to contracts so they can be used as a tool in their day-to-day operations. The best way to do this is through a shared system that provides real-time visibility of contracts, and allows teams to access and comment on them without delay.
