My senate is broke. We senators dont even get paid for the amount of hours and meetings we put in. RIP. 

How many programs u got at ur school. 1/5 is gigantic. Omg. I have so many programs and activities on campus. Lord help me when I have to talk to each and everyone of the 90+ programs to negotiate and inform them of the new budget.

SOBS. I don’t even have tumblr app on my phone anymore because I’m so busy these days! I check seldom check tumblr, which is so odd looking back with how aggressively I would do so in the past years.  

I-I’m alive (hardly). I don’t even play League anymore with how much work school has given me. But, I’m doing incredibly well all things considered. I’m the Chair of Finance of my student gov (I look over the entire student budget and expenses). I sit in big meetings with the VP of the college and in fact I’m presenting the previous fiscal year to the District tomorrow night. I put in 14 weeks of hard planning and work to set up a job fair for my campus this week, too. Gah. I am so very tired.

SHENPAI. You’ve made me smile. This made my day and put some energy back into these bones. I hope you’re alive and well.

Life Update

I recently got elected to be Chair of Finance for my college. I’ve joined the student Senate and I can still hardly believe that I won and my term will begin next quarter…

All the while I’m still VP of my Marketing Club. The hell runs I will have!

Since I was elected, I will now have to take on more responsibilities. I and my committee will be the ones in charge of the allocating the student budget.

I recently put in my 2 weeks for work. Resigning from my position as office receptionist at a chiropractic clinic.

It’s all surreal still. I’m really moving up in the academic world.

Not a Blessing

Some days the curse of knowledge gets the better of me. 

Today though, they stared at me with that glazed expression. My words were lost unto them, and it means that I have failed to deliver my message, haven’t I? 

My designs, they were too complex for the common man, the common scientist. Perhaps I have to sit down and think this all over. How do I get my point across without having to implant memory chips into their skulls for them to begin to understand my work?

Who can blame me though? 

It’s just that I never knew what it is like to be ignorant.

It’s GG for Viktor. 

They just gave Orianna Viktor’s lore. Riot somehow made the lore even worse for Viktor. I didn’t think they could do it, but they did. 

So what is Viktor now at all even?

He is supposed to be augment scientist supreme. Be the first to do this absolutely crazy idea of replacing his whole body with machine. His struggle was to save humanity because he is a benevolent person. His genius and brilliance was supposed to be so ahead of his time - the Nikola Tesla of League - that people only saw him as mad and too crazy. His hero’s journey and where the world had ruined the good will of a man is supposed to be a story of tragedy. 

I can’t wrap my mind around Riot’s thinking behind this one. Why throw away such a good idea?
