After shuffling through the drawer for a while, Dean eventually perks up and pulls one of the files out.He stares down at it, dread appearing to fill his vision. Carlton catches on with a glance over and rises,Eloise being too preoccupied with the boxes across from him to notice herself,

Carlton: You look like you've just found out Santa isn't real, what gives.

Dean: ...

Dean: Eloise..

Carlton: Ignore my genuine concern then,

Dean: No it's just-

Eloise: What? Is it not there?

Before Dean had the chance to reply, Carlton walks over and takes the file from Dean, who almost shudders backwards. He opens the file, only to shakily exhale and nervously grinning. Eloise stops what she's doing and looks over.

Dean: You see what I mean,

Carlton: The Adverjio case? What do you need that for?

Eloise: All of us know I don't have to answer that question,

Dean: It's probably glorified but you still like looking into it,

Eloise: Hey, it gives us a lot of leads onto a few things.

Carlton: The postmortem pictures are in there, aren't they.

Dean: Ohohoh, fun, I didn't want to keep my breakfast down anyway.

Dean: The fact you never explained how you got them is completely unnerving.

Eloise: Public case. Public resources. 

Dean: ..Public but not well known,

Eloise: You get my point.

Carlton keeps flipping through the pages until Eloise sighs and pulls it from him, placing it down on the table and flipping through it herself, looking for something.

Carlton: Feisty,

Eloise: Phone duty, Carlton.

Eloise: In fact, no. Both of you get those boxes off the shelf, we need those too.

Dean: Well, uh, Carlton,

Carlton: You're most likely taller than me, but alright, fine.

Carlton: How many of the boxes? I'm not bringing all of them down,

Eloise: Just the closest, 

Eloise is too focused on the files and Dean watches over her shoulder, glancing between the pin board and the paper.

Dean: Cult research again, we haven't done that in a while.

Eloise: Hush you,

Riley and William can still be heard talking in the background.Their voices are muffled out, however. The water in the river is tinted with mud, it has always been muddy from the water banks.

Another reason being that some people keep running through it. By the time Scarlet reached the door Jay was already standing by the river, leaning against her bow.

Scarlet: I know I said you could do whatever you wanted. Scarlet: But now on second though I'm getting a horrible feeling about what you're going to do.

Jay: no take backs those aren't allowed This wasn't going to end well at all. Jay was almost as bad as Riley when it came to ruining things.Just a trait they happened to share.Scarlet stepped out of the barn towards Jay, the cube in her hand as she offered it to her.

Scarlet: You owe me one for this.

Jay: i'll add it to the list of things i'll never repay back.

With that Jay took the cube from Scarlet and examined it for a moment.

Jay: what are you even going to do when you get there

Riley: The same thing you're going to do...

Riley: Why are you even going over there again?

Jay: 'scar said she found something 'i should take a look at'

Jay: though i feel like i'm going to get shot or stabbed when i walk in there

Riley: I'd rather get none of those I take it back I'm doing my own thing when we get there.

For the rest of the trip, the conversations more or less remain minimal apart from some small talk now and again.

You take the goggles from Riley and quickly put them on. You don't want to know how she managed to get them. Riley: Okay bird, tell me, why are you up and about? Thats not like you

Jay: what are you suggesting you cheerio thief

Riley: I mean why on earth are you changed and ready 

Jay: uhh

Jay: scarlet wanted me up at the farm for something. no idea what it is but i'm still going over

Riley: ...Can I come along just to annoy her

Jay: of course you can. not my fault if she's upset though 

Riley: Who cares if shes upset its going to be worth it

Jay: alright that's a good point. hurry up and get changed i'm not bringing you like that

Riley: Hmph, fine, suit yourself

Jay: just hurry up dammit

Jay: and don't steal anything this time

Seriously? How clumsy are you?

You know what, go and get changed, there is no way you're walking around like that, even if it's in your own house.And no, you're not getting another one.
