DePaul’s Women’s Center and the Office of Multicultural Student Success Cultural and Resource Centers are excited to launch our new campaign, Project 100: 100 Days of Challenging White Supremacy from January 27 through June 12, 2020. Project 100 offers posts to understand, name, disrupt, challenge, transform white supremacy, white privilege, racism (individual, interpersonal and institutional) and more. To facilitate this work, we’ve invited DePaul faculty, staff, students, and a few organizations to share words, ideas, strategies, art pieces and more to challenge white supremacy. Our goals are: (1) to build a community conversation about what white supremacy is and how we can challenge and change it; (2) to create awareness and accountability for how it manifests in our relationships; classrooms, community and institutional spaces; (3) to motivate people to step up, respond, and join in the struggle to end white supremacy; and (4) to share tools and resources for further education, intervention, and change. Please follow the Office of Multicultural Student Success (@omssdepaul) and the Women’s Center (@depaulwomenscenter) on Instagram to follow along. We hope to use this campaign as a point for conversation and understanding. Please direct any questions about Project 100 to [email protected].
