Maybe at some point we just got tired of everything- and we wanted to explore life without any hesitation and complications. It didn’t end well and it left a big hole in my life. Yeah, I know I got it, it’s been years already but you know, the pain is still there. Sometimes, it’s more painful than any other day but one day, I’ll be over it. I will accept that life is indeed unfair and will never be fair.

In God’s perfect time, I will have the courage to look at your eyes without any ill feelings, without getting hurt, not a single tears in my eyes.

I owe it to my young self I owe it to countless struggles I have endured. I owe my success in my life - to being strong, for being brave, and for making me realize what true love meant.

I will always look back on how much love and attention I showered you. Thank you for being a part of who am I today.

Balam

My heart is broken learning that one of my favorite internet cat passed away. When I first encountered Balam’s page in Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/balam_says?igsh=YjVseW5rcG45bWJu), it made my heart so full watching Phaedra and Balam having the time of their lives. Then, here comes Zog (my second favorite), Chaska, Roo and Oona who are incredible cute. Watching their videos inspired me to adopt my own cats- Coco and Cobi. Whenever I feel down, I go to their page and watch them with all the cute costumes and conversation with their Mom. I admire Phaedra for having such a kind heart for rescuing stray animals and how she manage Balam Foundation.

Balam has left an incredible legacy and I will miss him so much. I will keep on supporting their page and watch their videos specially Balam’s - a reminder that life is too short, a reminder that we should always give love to our fur babies the same love we give to humans.

Balam, I will miss you and your conversation with your Mom. Do know that you are loved by so many people who supports the foundation and also your Mom.

To Phaedra, we will keep on supporting you.
