Another little update, this time a simple one related to enter to areas, you will see by passing some check points will trigger a card where it will be the name of the area.
As i have some problems with aiming under Unreal Engine 5, i decided to pass it for now and try to make the tech demo to be available around march of this year...
Sorry for lack of updates about the gameplay but, now finally we have some about AI followers that i hope to implement on the Tech Demo; as you can see, there is two types of NPC followers, those that it will get close to you and those that will follow you but a it wander around a bit when you are not moving.
Now the last part will be the follower attacking an enemy when is in range.
Note; As we´re implementing more funtions to the characters, the frame rate is taking a bigger hit and as such i should stop implementing more funtions in order to the gameplay is in a perfect state.
Now is time to to test the transition between levels, the main menu is a complete level and as such it uses different assets and as no player characters or AI is using it, t should be no problem to test some menu options; when traveling to another area, it will download any possible blueprint available.
As the level for the test is empty, just the playable character and some basic blueprints, the transition is almost instant, but, the sound is another story as it reads the distance and position from where the sound comes from (footsteps, light switch, bullet sound and bullet shell hitting ground uses a different sound amplifier and affect the framerate).
Just some more check on the AI system to make a playable Tech Demo.
Another little update, this time related to sounds, just a simple sounds at location and background music in main game and at specific moments. Almost ready for a tech Demo to be released... soon
