Slavestate Magazine had some very nice Swedisg things to say about our self-titled EP. So I translated it to English so everyone can read it. Swedish link: http://www.slavestate.se/?e=3966 "Somewhere about ten years ago the noise- and drone scene was considerably larger than it seems to be today, even if there of course exists large names in both the cassette- and the live scene now in 2018. You just need to dig a little deeper than before,and for those who do the debuting Project Garms' selftitled EP definately worth a little effort (but now you basically get it served on a plate here). Actually, it does not matter as much about noise or drone as the slightly more diffuse subgenre "dark ambient", where names such as Lustmord and Mental Escape Pod can be mentioned. Solis and Sandor, the people behind the project, get a lot of inspiration directly from Lustmord's never-ending source without feeling in any way pushed or plagiarized. Now, it should also be mentioned that the possibility of variation in such a genre is quite small, but as far as it's even possible to have an "own" sound, I still dare to say that the duo succeeded well. While it is as claustrophobic and threatening as many other genres, there is also some kind of undefinable kind of warmth, both in the heavily pulsating "Plant" and the more sneaky "Pit" and "Passage". If you happen to have any interest in the genre, or if you just want to close your eyes and for nineteen minutes fantasise your own horror movie with this as a soundtrack, do yourself a favor and direct your focus to the link below.
