In the wake of a zombie apocalypse Reverend Ivan Passworthy is alone in the world, his dog Wacko and an imaginary old lady named Maureen his only companions. In the 12 years since the end of civilisation Ivan has carved out an isolated existence within a few acres of heavily fortified English countryside, waiting patiently for survivors to return.

When Maureen’s constant nattering becomes too much to bear, Ivan’s prayers for salvation are answered by the crash landing of a bizarre extraterrestrial named Lee. The unlikely pair quickly find common ground through their own personal losses, but can they send Lee home before they are consumed by the undead evil just beyond the fence?

In the 12th episode of Clarence, "Rise and Shine", when Clarence speaks to the mountain lion, there is a song that can be heard in the background. Notable lyrics include: We are lions/I'm your lionheart/Your'e my mountaintop, and I want to know, was this song a reference to Always by Erasure? Did you record an entire song, and would it be possible to post that online? Or at the least, could you post the lyrics to this song so others might be able to sing it as well?

Hi Daniel, thanks for getting in touch! I generally only produce as much music as is needed for the clip - the turnarounds are very tight so it’s usually a case of doing only what’s necessary! This cue was indeed a reference to Always by Erasure, well spotted! For those who haven’t seen this episode, it’s from a bit where Clarence gives an emotional speech to try and talk a mountain lion safely down from a tree. Was reading 3D World Magazine this morning and found this awesome quote. Great advice.

So according to the movie Back to the Future Part II, by the year of our lord 2015 there are supposed to be 19 movies in the Jaws franchise.  As of January 2014, there are only 4.  I personally see this as an enormous travesty, which is why I’m calling on the internet to rectify this grievous mistake.

I challenge the geek community, the web community, the YouTube community, the film community, the time travel community, the hypothetical Jaws community, and the local community college to answer my call and create 15 new JAWS feature-length movies before October 21st, 2015.

According to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, American Film Institute, and British Film Institute, a feature film has to be at least 40 minutes long.  So even if your film is 40 straight minutes of a rubber shark floating quietly in a bathtub, it still fulfills what I am asking of you in the challenge, and it is still probably a more entertaining watch than Jaws: the Revenge.

So grab your camera phones, a bucket, and that inflatable shark you bought at the dollar store, because it’s showtime.  Live-action, stop-motion, puppets, pencil animation, CG, piss on film- it doesn’t matter how you create the movie!  Just go and make the 2015 of Back to the Future II a reality.
