i had a dream that the new pokemon legends came out, but it was so intense. like my character was in an elevator and it started to plummet and i had to pull out a psychic pokemon i just HAPPENED to have and have it levitate us safely so we wouldn't die when the elevator crashed in the basement of professor sycamore's lab. Professor sycamore, btw, was the protag's dad, and he rushed to help when he found out the elevator crashed and praised the protag's quick thinking, (while i was like, man, what if i didn't have a psychic type on me? i would have had to restart from the last save), BUT THE PROTAG WAS SUSPICIOUS THAT THEIR DAD TRIED TO KILL THEM or someone else who's in charge of the lab and gives out elevator keys and i was sitting back playing like "nah. i like sycamore and him being a twist villain isn't how pokemon rolls. Lysander is probably pulling the strings even if we haven't met him yet"
between all of this i was trying to paint my nails and keep from smearing them while playing the game and it was a stressful time all around but there you go.

i’ve started saying “i’ve been having health issues” like some sort of suburban mother and gotta say. would highly recommend. lets people know you’re not doin’ too hot without leaving room for questions. gets them off your ass. makes you mysterious. am i shitting myself blind or wasting away like a delicate victorian maiden? who knows! not you!

im still losing it over the "how did high schoolers write 600 word essays before chatgpt" post. 600 words. that is nothing. that is so few words what do you mean you can't write 600 words. 600 words. this post right here is 45 words.

"this is an inaccurate adaptation" okay but is it good "this didn't happen in the book" does it make sense in the context of the new work though "they totally changed the plot" and is the new one good or bad "it's completely different" not what I asked "they changed all the stuff I like" then I get why you wouldn't be into it but I'm asking about its own artistic merits "this character is meant to be blonde" I couldn't give less of a fuck

dichotomy of “nothing in the digital age is permanent, we are losing physicality and thus part of ourselves” vs. “everything in the digital age is permanent, everything you do is recorded and stored for later use against you or to exploit you”
