something i really like about the expanse is the like. strong biology focus. a lot of the discussion people have around the scientific accuracy revolves around the physics, and as a result people criticize it for not actually having the most accurate physics. and well that’s because neither of the co-authors have physics degrees. but one of them (daniel abraham) DOES have a biology degree. and it really shows especially once you get into the later books. a lot of people didn’t like cibola burn but personally i think the xeno-biology stuff is incredibly creative and cool. and the last three books when you really get to know what the Builders were like biologically. so good
