So here's how the Star Trek® transporters and food replicators should work: You go to Food Deck, and you eat whatever you like best: Porterhouse steak, fully-loaded baked potato, Ambrosia salad, whatever. Wash it down with three-four beers, whatever you like. Dessert? Don't mind if I do. Chocolate cake with Romulan praline ice cream. Mm-mm! Then you go to the transporter room, and you get transported to the same transporter room except now your stomach's full of a healthy, balanced meal. And then you have Jell-O. Because there's always room for Jell-O.
