I shifted several stacks of graphic novels and comics to get at the box containing... *wrong box* ...ahem, so I shifted some more stuff and got to my copies of Crisis on Infinite Earths. It can't be the 40th anniversary, because they came out a couple of years after high school.

I finished my August Interlac zine cover. A twist on a non-Legion DC Comics cover from the era of Go-Go Checks, but improved with the addition of Proties. When a really stupid idea hits, I just have to jump on the inspiration. Brought out the Rapidograph pens and India ink to draw the Proties, before scanning and Photoshopping them onto the older cover line art. Gotta buy more India ink, and Bristol board for the next project.

Triplicate Girl

This is honestly my favorite design I did

Design notes:

I’m a sucker for characters with over sized sleeves

I really wanted to do something fun with her eyes, her official designs usually give her heterochromia but I went with three irises one for each triad

Each of her eyes can move independently from the others letting her focus on multiple things at once in one body

Her different colors split depending on the triad
