 an upcoming real life site set in washington, dc. hosted on jcink. a short & sweet site buzz beginning april 28th for an early may opening!

Washington D.C. is charming and vicious. While other cities claim to lead in fame and fashion, D.C. captures the world’s attention. It draws interests towards its marble walkways leading up into great halls and its broken steps leading down into busy underground metro stations. Beyond government buildings and aged monuments, a remarkable cache of street festivals, eclectic art exhibitions, stylish shops, and a tantalizing food scene leave nothing to be desired. Suit-clad politicians rush by with their aides trailing behind them, while the working crowd steals away from their desks to take part in the happy hour scene in bars and pubs across the city.   A city, almost perfect, except for the cracks in its façade. Foreign nationals and tourists see a historical city, respectable and beautiful, filled with archives of the United State’s collective memory in both pride and shame. Politicians and locals see a powerful see, great and desperate, gaping open with power vacuums that must either be sealed or overtaken before other hands grabs the reins.   With a distinct claim on overarching power, it is the city of dreams and consequences beyond the imagination.

little miss popularity / honestly lives a life like something pulled out of gossip girl / queen of the upper east side / her mother died when she was 8, her father works so much no one’s actually seen him for more than five minutes at any given time / her “home” is actually just a penthouse suite at the tippy top of a ritzy hotel / no one actually thought she’d ever make it to college / a hot fucking mess but at least she’s wearing dior / annoyingly likable despite never having to work for anything / just all around effortless / believes in the sanctity of the champagne shower / doesn’t seem to have any real ambition in life / just wanders around aimlessly and hopes she’ll run into something that’ll spark a passion / that or become a guess girl, it’s a toss up / known for throwing the most insane parties / in fact her whole life just seems to be one big party / the pursuit of fun seems to trump everything / it’s a miracle she hasn’t pulled a manny santos and flashed her boobs at a party / wants to be loved but doesn’t know how to ask for it / so she just does The Most and substitutes that with whatever affection is lacking in her life / always seems to have a new boyfriend, sometimes she forgets their names / only bought into the whole sorority thing because she was tired of superficial friendships / then found out all her sorority sisters are vipers and basically tries to coerce them with sephora gift cards and rosé /  the girl that can get you to spill your whole life to her without ever sharing anything real of her own / has def offered you the chance to feel her boobs / what serena van der woodsen wishes she could be / voraciously consumes romcoms as if they’re a guidebook to love / misses steal your girl, your man, and your netflix password / that person who steps out the door and knows 385040 people / has no concept of the value of a dollar
