Now like any other normal person who is tired, I laid down for a nap this afternoon. It was a very good nap, loved every minute of it, So I set a timer for my virtual meeting with my assistant so I wouldn’t forget about it like anyone would do. But what I completely forgot about was that my timer was set to the song of Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, so my Alexa goes off at full blast and scares the living shit out of me. Safe to say that I just lost like ten years off my life and am still shaky after my meeting. Has anyone else done this and got the daylights scared out of them or am I the only dumbass around here? @hfrpstarters​

“You know what’s good about this though? Now you may just be invincible if anyone else tries to sing at full volume while you sleep. Always have to think of the positives in this, right? Hm, I’m usually not scared. In fact I tend to be the one scaring my other members. Though that doesn’t make you dumb at all, my friend Mark is scared easily too.”

I think that is a big part of it too. Being in the States for work, I miss a lot of stuff that I had in my childhood and it isn’t so readily available here. Oh yeah, I mean, I know the stuff isn’t bad but the last thing I need is judge for the sheer amount of what I bring. 

“Oh I’m sure, I know the States has a lot of rules when it comes to sweets. So a lot of Japanese treats aren’t available in the States. It’s sad though because they’re delicious and I wish more people got to try them. Listen I will stow your stuff away for you anytime you need.”

Okay, I need someone to tell me they also do the same so I don’t feel totally insane but does anyone else pack their own snacks when they travel out of fear of not being able to get any where they are going? I swear, if a TSA agent had to open my case for any reason they would be greeted with timtams and pop tarts, no shame here. Is this normal or am I just totally exposing myself? @hfrpstarters​

“No I pack some snacks from Japan quite often. I miss my childhood sweets when I’m away from home. It’s quite often that I’m away, so I simply pack a whole bunch and pray that they don’t pick me to open the bag of. I mean, I have nothing to really hide. It’s just funny, honestly.”

having a month off from football is honestly so rejuvenating. like don’t get me wrong - a lot of tears have been shed since finalising my decision to leave united (specifically saying goodbye to kath — the woman’s been slapping wet paper towels on my grazed knees since i was seven) but ‘m fully enjoying freedom & normality. i’ve been chilling with la rams (sorry odell), putting away cake like it’s a victoria sponge eating competition, rubbing shoulders with r&b royalty and finally (finally) finishing all four seasons of stranger things. kate bush is riding high in that spotify top ten. not gonna’ give too much away because ‘m not for spoilers but since it’s a trend on virtually every social media platform now, what’s everyone’s top three favourite songs? in case i ever need to save you from a hypothetical, creepy psychopath? @hfrpstarters​

do you remember chia pets? the little jingle and different varieties had a good grip on me as a little girl.. yes, i had several. well a few months ago i was reminded of their existence and hopped on amazon at 3 a.m., deciding to buy a bob ross chia pet. let me tell you, i was excited  to start rubbing the tiny chia seeds on his temporarily bald head. it’s been about a month and a half, i’m afraid he has bald spots while pieces of his current plant hair are falling out. i have sadly not done mr. ross any justice at all., luckily, i think he’d just call this a happy mistake. enough about my heart break and let me introduce myself, i’m kristine, how are you doing? ruin any chia pets latey?

“Honestly I admire all that you’ve done in such a short amount of time. I think it’s insane that at your age you have the maturity you do, I meant that as a compliment, honest. You’re also incredibly talented, which I’m sure you get all the time. Well I wanted to be a professional footballer at first, which is totally different than my occupation now obviously. I actually had no background in singing or dancing at all before auditioning. Meet and greets make me anxious, as I want to be as good in person as they imagined you know? So I think I always wind up talking excessively.”

right? it sounds crazy, but they’re super fascinating most of the time. they just reel you in and the moment you start listening to one, you just want to know how it ends. i agree with you. those really are always the hardest cases to listen to. i don’t know if you’ve ever heard of this one, but i recently listened to a podcast that talked about the case of seventeen year old kelly anne bates, and that one was just horrible. 

“Yeah honestly because it’s just crazy. I worry for  most walking alone at night, as I’ve seen both sides of the spectrum. Although I will admit that I really panic whenever my girlfriend goes around alone nowadays. People are too untrustworthy now, you know? I haven’t heard of that one at all, I totally appreciate the recommendation. I feel like we should start a club together.. you know? Where we go over cases.”

i’ve been super obsessed with podcasts lately and listen to them every chance i get— during my breaks on set, during my workouts, when i cook or get ready for the day. i pretty much listen to them all day long, especially the true crime ones. but i feel like i’ve listened to all the good ones already, so now i need some suggestions. they don’t even have to be true crime related, i just need some good new podcasts to listen to, please. or am i the only one that still listens to them and everyone else has moved on already? / @hfrpstarters​

“I love true crime podcasts honestly. I think it’s the mystery of trying to put the pieces together, plus in a strange way it’s fascinating. Of course you wish they could have been in a different location at that point in time as well. The hardest cases to listen to are always the elderly and the youth. As they’re the most vulnerable, you know?”
