Diana narrowed her eyes at him, her brother was a typical boy who loved to downplay everything. If it wasn’t important it wouldn’t bother him and she didn’t like secrets between, which was funny since their relationship was built on a secret. “You swear it’s real not important, or I don’t want to talk about not important?” Diana questioned. She giggled at the mention of the irony of their situation. “Is it because I’m a delight?”

Diana moved closer to him putting her head on his shoulder, it was nice knowing they shared terrible expression of feelings. “We definitely got this bad communication thing from dad,” she teased. “I’m really sorry Pres, of course I want to talk about this though. You are my big brother and my best friend. Do you want to fix things with Fallon? ” Diana asked. She bit her lip, they didn’t talk about Michael a lot because Diana despised him and when things were good between Michael and Preston she felt like she was losing Preston. “He made you feel important?”

“maybe i just don’t want to talk about it.” preston locked everything inside as a way to avoid emotions. he just couldn’t stand being the person who seemed weak. he smiled at her and nodded. “yeah. because you’re the delight between us.” 

he scoffed thinking about his father. they really did know preston was his father’s child with the things they had in common and preston hated it. they were his worst traits that he got from the man. “with fal? i really don’t know. you know how i am, im not even great at knowing how to trust people and i just... i do like her though.” 

“he made me feel... wanted. and don’t get me wrong, di. you have been my best friend from the day they brought you home but... we couldn’t be seen around each other and michael took me under his wing when i wanted to be able to not be shoved to the side.” he sighed turning to her, reaching down to hold her hand. “then he started to show some of the bad parts of how he did things. he was a fucking difficult person and then terrible at the end.” He groaned. “sorry, look... diana it’s not fun talking about michael.”
