thank you for the hatid sundo and after duty dates, for the pabaon chocolates, weekend samgyup and movie gala, morning pancakes, and croissant and hot chocolate while looking at the sunset dates. i appreciate you being there when all i can do is ugly cry from all the pagod. and i would love you to be there when we finally have our three dogs in our own home overlooking the city. thank you for being the gentlest, loving person i know.

saw this from twitter. konti na lang matatapos na ako sa clerkship, and i know na hindi ako dapat tatamad tamad sa point na 'to. pero pagod na 'ko.

hindi na ako masaya everytime na pumapasok sa duty. hindi ako tinatamad magduty. rather, nawawalan ako ng ganang magduty at bumangon every 4am para pumasok, magstay na gising for 32 hours straight sa ospital bago bumyahe pauwi para lang matulog and pumasok na naman the next day. idk ginusto ko naman 'to dati :(

if i was born rich, i wouldn't pursue Medicine. if i'm rich, i'd quit med forever. 32+ straight hours of unpaid labor, 32+ straight hours of staying awake doesn't seem right anymore. i help treat patients, even when i feel unwell and sick. i help treat patients, but i can't even spare some time to accompany my dad or my siblings for a checkup. i care for strangers at the hospital but i can't even take care of the ones i really care for.

these days, just the sight of the wards or the emergency room makes me sick to my stomach. i know i wanted this so bad, but i'm SO sick of it.

if i'm rich, i'd quit med.. forever.
