He waited in line to get the ice cream, paid for it, and then he looked around for Saiki to see that he had walked over to an empty table.

      “Alright, here is your ice cream.              You can start on this and i’ll get that giga dessert thing.        Don’t go hiding or anythin’ or I won’t be able to find ya.”

It would kinda suck if he spent too long looking for you and it all melts, right? Locating the stall that was selling the giga dessert, he immediately set off to go and buy that next for his friend.

Saiki looked over to Mizumachi when he brought him his ice cream. Why would he move when he’s going to be waiting for his shaved ice. He takes the ice cream, eating it slowly. As much as he wanted to eat it fast, he doesn’t want to suffer a brain freeze.

He didn’t look at the other when he left. He’s going to get that giga sweets. He though ended up finishing the ice cream since he had been taking big portions.

Its either he’s at Tsumugi’s place or Tsumugi was at his. It didn’t matter. He enjoyed the other’s company. Quiet, not pushy, nothing negative about him. He shared desserts and he reads books. Its nice to have company when he reads and he likes to know of Tsumugi’s tastes. So far its been interesting.

After all, the book he was reading is owned by Tsumugi and Saiki had shared his book with the other. Perfect isn’t it?

Practice was tiring, even if they’d been in the sports for so long, its still tiring. Sekizan met Jun in a very odd predicament. One was defending and got hurt, he of course, couldn’t leave it all be so, he stepped in. Tough since he was a big guy and it almost caused problems but luckily it was defused. He learned that Jun was into sports, more so tennis. He tried it before but god he was horrible at it.

To think someone who used to be captain and still plays rugby was bad at every sports.

They met up after practice and headed over to who ever was the closest in terms of housing. So that would be Jun. Sekizan was given permission to stay over the night since it was late. He didn’t mind but it was his day off and he is tired. They got to Jun’s place, got cleaned, had dinner and just decided to sit on the couch to watch tv.

Eventually the exhaustion took over and well the two fell asleep on the couch.

Jun had leaned against him and Sekizan had rested his head on the other’s own. Someone’s going to have stiff neck in the morning.

Sounded like a good idea to him, anyways. Maybe you’ll have it finished by the time they finish making the gigantic dessert.

Saiki lets out a heavy sigh at that「 Fine.. 」He’ll have the ice cream first then the giga shaved ice. Either way, he’s still eating it all.「 Get water too. Its free. 」

He looked around, walking off to one of the empty tables. He chose the one that’s under the shade. At least he’ll be able to avoid the sun’s rays. He doesn’t want to get sunburnt nor a tan. He didn’t bring any sunblock to avoid all of this. Honestly, Mizumachi just rushes into things before thinking.

The idiot better catch a cold so he can learn his lesson. Though knowing him, he probably won’t even learn his lesson at all.

[水] – Just when he was about to go and order the ice cream for Saiki, he felt something tugging on his arm, and he looked down to see that Saiki was looking at something else.  A poster of some kind?

      “Giga… coffee jelly… shaved ice???                That sounds really interesting.”

He never thought that coffee flavored shaved ice would be a thing, much less one in a gigantic form. He could see that Saiki was enthralled with the idea, so he nodded his head, understanding what he wanted. Saiki wanted that one too. Got it.

      “Are you sure you can finish both of them, though?                I’m sure I could finish them all, but I dunno if you can.”

Mizumachi did say he’d get you two desserts, so two different sweets, it was. If Saiki intended for the giga dessert to count for two, he’d have to say something, because as far as he was concerned: ‘I could eat that much myself so it counts as two.’ Leave it to an athlete to judge everything by his own stomach.

Both of them? Ah so Mizumachi misunderstood, though he’s getting him ice cream and the shaved ice. He wasn’t going to pass that opportunity on having two things at once, besides, he can just put it with the shaved ice. And if he has problems later on, that’s just future Saiki’s problem not current Saiki.

Golden eyes jumped around his living room before dropping down to his coffee table where his glass of water sat. Slowly, Saihara took a small sip to calm his dry throat before setting it back down just as his guest had returned- what was said next slightly ticked saihara off.

Saihara took on a rather perplexed expression before shaking his head and looking at the visitor in his house. “I insist, you can have the bed tonight. I’d feel pretty guilty leaving you on my couch as a guest.” Saihara just wanted to sleep at this point as the day really took a lot out of him, be it on the couch or on the floor though- Saihara had a shred of decency and wasn’t about to let his guest sleep on his second-hand couch that probably was owned by some dead lady. 

The couch looked bad, for someone like Saihara that is.「 ..The floor looks better than that couch. Do you have a futon? At least you can sleep in your room and not here. 」

It looked a bit too cold to be out here, plus that couch looked too small to turn and get comfortable in. Though if Saihara insists being there, he sighs「 Never mind... Good night. 」

He turned around and heads over to the bedroom. He wasn’t too sure why he was insisting on the other to be in the same room as him.

[水] –  Hm… yeah, he could probably get sick if he didn’t change into something dry—but it happen yet, so that was fine. You know what they say, ‘idiots don’t catch colds,’ and he was an idiot—so that means he’s safe!

Overly optimistic, that’s what he was.

      “Coffee flavor… huh?                 I wonder if they’ll have it?”

He sometimes thought like he was still in Japan, where the more popular of the two flavors between tea and coffee would be… tea. Approaching the stall, he could see that instead of having Green Tea flavors, they had coffee instead. Well, he’ll be darned!

      “Ah… can I have a Coffee ice cream and a… shaved ice?”

Did you really want your shaved  ice to be coffee flavored? You didn’t want something colorful and sweet like strawberry or blueberry? Mizumachi looked back at Saiki for confirmation on both being coffee flavored.

The pink haired male followed after the taller male, looking around and frowning at the heat. He stuck close to the other since well, he was basically using him as shade to block the horrible rays of the sun.

Saiki was looked at and he just raised a brow, like yes he indeed wanted coffee flavour. He looked around the stall more and his eyes laid on something better. He grabs Mizumachi’s arm and tugs it. He points to the poster. It was a promo for the giga coffee jelly shaved ice added with some pocky sticks, the actual jellies, and coffee ice cream scoops on top.

That one. That’s the one he wants. It’ll make up for two sweets. This was a huge one after all and it’ll be all for himself.

Over to the stovetop Roen went, checking on his jam and taking it off the heat when he realized it was done. He could transfer it to a bowl and put it in the fridge to cool while he finished up with the cakes. Perhaps it would be cold enough to work with by the time the cakes had cooled off enough to stack and decorate?

He glanced over to his guest as he puttered about the kitchen, a faint smile on his lips. Well, at least he seemed to be enjoying the products of Roen’s stress.

Perhaps, considering he was most likely a student here, Roen should get his contact information and unload batches of sweets on him whenever he began stress baking. It was honestly a problem trying to find a way to get rid of all the sweets he ended up making when he locked himself in a kitchen all day to destress.

Cakes were taken out of the ovens and de-panned, left on racks to cool. Roen would need to level them before he could stack them.

As he took a short break he got himself and his guest a glass of water each, setting the second glass on the counter next to the other male.

He certainly looked happy eating that.

“Perhaps I should rework the flavours for the cake…” he murmured to himself. If he was going to be feeding it to this guy, he might as well make it a flavour that he liked and he seemed really happy with the coffee jelly.

“If I may ask, are there any other flavours, besides coffee jelly, that you like?”

While he busied himself with the coffee jelly, he watched the other work around the university’s kitchen. His nose picked up the scent of the sweet and freshly baked goods. Was it cake? Cupcakes maybe? They always did have a similar smell to them. So he continued to watch, wondering which of the baked goods it was.

Cake.

It smelled really good too. What is he going to turn it into? One could never tell what the finished product would be only just from looking at it. Only the one who baked it would know the end results. That thought alone was exciting for him. To watch something being made from start to finish. At least when it came to sweets.

Saiki didn’t know when he had finished his jelly but when nothing came to his mouth, he glanced down. He pouted when it was empty, seconds would be nice. He looked back up when he was spoken to.

「 I’m not picky in flavours. If its sweet, I’ll eat it. I just prefer coffee jelly more. 」
