I definitely agree with this!

Some people don't understand that this situations may also related in real life.

If you were a teenager, got kidnapped, and locked and quarantine, not knowing what's going on and less knowing education. Are you gonna freaking survive with it?

It really depends on a person or a student but seriously If I were in Komaru's situation I would've cried a lot.

I'm so tired of talking to other DR fans because so many of them treat Komaru like she's this dumb baby who's helpless when the narrative shows the complete opposite.

Is Komaru very socially awkward? Yes. It's shown in the game that she doesn't quite understand most social cues or terms. Is she also a bit slow when it comes to certain topics? Yes. But remember, Komaru was kidnapped during her high school years and was thrown out into the apocalypse.

I don't know about you, but I think it's perfectly acceptable that a kid whose been locked up for a year or two not know the word retinal or understands sarcasm.

Not to mention how smart she is emotionally? She knew Toko was lying during the conflict and calmed her down using what she gathered from the girl! Mind you, they've only known each other for about a day and a half. Intelligence doesn't just include book smarts, yknow.

Oh, and one more thing: I hate how people try to blame Komaru for being rightfully uncomfortable with the situation. Hey, don't know how to break this to you, but Komaru is still a teenager. She's still a kid. If you were thrusted into this situation as a teen, would you not sob and give up?

Idk. Just bugs me how people try to treat her lesser because of her being... A realistic teenage girl??? (Also lets not talk about how much that shows their character for immediately jumping the gun and babying someone based off intelligence alone. That just doesn't sit right with me at all.)
