Prezi
: I think Prezi is awesome! You can do so much with it! Plus, it’s for Free! There are endless possibilities with the templates they have to offer! I would definitely recommend to others that would love to present something. Prezi is much better than a Powerpoint. You have animation that can basically turn into a video if you wanted it to. You can literally put whatever you want into a presentation on Prezi. And the end result will still look professional! With Prezi, you won’t fall asleep when using it. It’ll make you feel alive & smile the entire time using it.

This guitar talk presentation, I created on Prezi was just a quick example of a type of presentation you can make on there. There are many different types of templates you can choose from. Or you can even start from scratch. Plus, you can upload any type of picture/image you want to be displayed. You can even customize the background to be a color or an image. Plus, you can customize the font you want for each text. There’s a lot of animation you can add to a Prezi presentation. In this presentation, I broke down basically the features of a Schecter guitar with or without a Floyd Rose whammy bar. There’s a lot of Hellraiser guitars without a Floyd Rose whammy bar. Which makes those guitars limited on what they can do. But with Prezi, you can almost do Anything! Even with the Free version! Yes, the Prezi Plus version comes with great features, but you don’t exactly NEED them for your presentation!

Give it a Chance! :)
If you give it a chance, you’ll be surprised & might find it entertaining! I only made these audio recordings short to sort of tease you into wanting to hear More.! I haven’t even recorded a Full Performance! I’m sorry if I don’t catch your attention right away but maybe in the next few recordings, I’ll have you hooked & wanting to hear More! But the only thing is that I’m only going to be doing this every week at first. Slowly but surely, I might start to do it every other day. I haven’t decided yet. I would have to dedicate a Lot of time to this. I’m a very busy person as it Is. I’ve got 4 kids, trying to run my Own business (LLC. & S-Corp) from Home, & working on my bachelor’s all at the same time. I’m even taking other courses on the side to learn about Coding & Cyber-Security for a new job I’m aiming for with a new client I’m making a website for. So it's going to be difficult to work this into my schedule but I will try to make it work somehow.

Go Easy on me!
This is my First time ever doing this podcast. I still don’t have a Separate Microphone yet. I plan to borrow one from my camera guy. But in the meantime, I’m using a Recording software called “Audacity” & the microphone on my laptop. So, the Quality isn’t quite there yet so that’s why I said to Please go Easy on me. This podcast is a Work in Progress because I’m Learning as I go. I apologize for the informality, but I plan to get better equipment & better at recording in General. I plan to have a guest speaker soon. Hopefully Next week but if he’s too busy still then I will just have to hook up my guitar to start playing for you by myself. I’m going to be honest, I’m not as Good as Him. I’ll be Straightforward about that. But I’m good enough to still teach anybody that wants to learn about guitars & how to play them. I know More than the Basics. I’m pretty Advanced, the only difference between Me & Him is that I’m still Learning how to do guitar sweeps, & He’s already doing Finger tapping sweeps.

Next, is the pentatonic scales! This is the stage where you can start learning the “Box Frames” that Solos are Made of. After you’ve mastered your Chords (Keep in mind that you will ALWAYS keep learning due to the Infinite Combinations of Notes), we will go over scales that have kind of a “Box” Pattern All Up & Down the Neck of the guitar. There are only 5 scales that repeat to the bottom “Octave”. An Octave is 1-12 frets on the guitar. Starting at the 12th fret, the same Exact Notes Repeat but Only at a Higher Pitch so to speak. Most Solos start in the First Octave to follow the Chord Progressions before that “POP OFF” in the Bottom Frets from 12thfret to the 24th fret. Sadly, most guitars like the Fender Stratocasters or even the Gibson Les Paul’s, SG’s, etc. tend to only have up to 22 frets. Therefore, missing the last 2 frets (23rd & 24th). But don’t Fret! Lol You can still play basically about 80% of Guitar solos because just like you, most guitarists only have 22 frets. Only the Heavy Metal bands tend to have even 7-string guitars with 24 frets. But that’s a Whole other Level of mastery to reach. Again, don’t fret! You’ll get there! Only if you Really Want to. Anyways, back to the topic at hand, after the Pentatonic scales I will teach you what they call “Arpeggios”. Or “Rock Licks”. Each chord has a set or box of notes that you can play to “Complement” the chord notes. I will teach you how to connect the dots of the notes to match a chord progression. My all-time Favorite is the A minor. But you might have a Different favorite than me. That’s Fine too! So, give me a Call if you want one-on-one training! I’m pretty laid back & go with the flow kind of guy. I welcome any Newcomers! Thanks!

Now if you already know how to tune your guitar & keep it In Tune, then the Next Step is to Dive in to guitar Chords! I know that you might be just wanting to learn the guitar solos in songs. Well, here’s the Thing, you’ve Got to Learn the Fingering positions of the Major & Minor Chords. You’ve got to learn how to develop the finger memory, learn how to place your Tip of your finger on the strings so that you don’t “Kill” the Bottom or Top strings when you strum the chord. I will show you what I mean in the Video. Trust me, we will get to those Solos after we move past these chords. You’ll see that it’s the First piece of the Puzzle Later on down the line. You Can learn the solo’s Only but what’s the point? You need to know how to play the Chorus & the Rest of the Song Anyways. Now don’t get me wrong, if you Just want to learn how to do guitar solos. I can Teach you. But that’s going to cost extra because I’ve got to Learn it & then the time it’ll take me to Try to Teach you, what if you give up because it’s too complicated? That’s why I suggest learning the chords First. Because Solos Might Sound Cool, but they’re something that takes Mastery of the Chords. You can’t Create a Solo without a Chord Progression to keep in Time with.! You’ve got to know that Chord Progressions are the Root of the Solos. Because the Solos are the Notes that turn into a Melody connecting the Chords Notes by breaking down the scales of each chord being played. I can’t wait to start teaching you to show you what I’m talking about. Call me when you want to learn one-on-one with me.!

So, First Things First, you must Calibrate and Listen to your guitar to keep it Tuned! I’m charging $10/hr. to Help you learn the Proper Fast way to get Tuned in Standard E tuning or get tuned to the Song you want to learn how to play. There’s many Factors that come into play scientifically when it comes to getting tuned & Staying Tuned. It depends on the Quality of the guitar, Quality of the guitar strings, Quality of the Tuning Keys, & if your guitar can be upgraded to have Tuning Locks that you have to unlock/lock with an Allen Wrench (Hex Key). First & foremost, when installing your Good Quality/Affordable guitar strings, you must Pre- Stretch the guitar strings then Re-tune over & Over a few times to Maximize the Long-term time that your guitar will stay in Tune. I will break everything down for you via Zoom. You might be thinking, why don’t I just Buy a Guitar Tuner? Well, because the way that I can teach you will show you the skill of tuning WITHOUT a guitar tuner. Plus, the way that I will teach you is Much Faster than doing 1 string at a Time using the tuner. Like I said, I plan to break Everything down in our video chat for you to see what I’m talking about.

This is my Guitar! I love it! I can Really Abuse the Whammy Bar!
I use these Super Slinky Guitar Strings! They're the Best! I Love how they Really Stretch out Perfectly for the whammy bar to be Abused back n forth. Loose & Tightened with the Floyd Rose whammy bar I've got on this Schecter of mine! Amazing Quality & Sound with the Active EMG pickups!
