Old bat. I like scaly things and keep stumbling into eighties fandom.

Originating from the African continent, the Ocos are one of the most widespread populations of intelligent species, with some of the biggest population centres in Africa, Asia, India, and the European Archipelago.
While omnivorous, Ocos seem to have evolved from specialized predators of mammals, and retain exceptionally acute hearing and crepuscular habits. While still widely farmed a livestock, some cultures view mammals as “pestilent” and unsuitable as food. Fish, fruit, and eggs are also common favorite foods
Despite only having mild sexual dimorphism (the most obvious difference is males usually having light facial disks and females darker ones), Oco society is traditionally highly segregated, adults of different sexes often expected to not interact at all unless with family or mates, essentially living in separate parallel societies. This traditional segregation however has been weakening in recent years.
It is claimed by some that Ocos are the wisest and most clever species of all, but you only hear this from Ocos themselves, they might be a bit biased on the topic.

Barnes and Nobles is gonna start serving food and alcohol.
Everybody’s cracking jokes about how it’s a desperate attempt to stay relevant in the age of Amazon.
But you know what? Props to them. This is exactly what Blockbuster didn’t do. At no point was Blockbuster like “Hey, movie rentals aren’t the lucrative enterprise they once were. Perhaps it’s time we become known for our cheesy garlic bread.”

They never existed, Rodimus Prime. They're a shock sideshow concept set in Medieval periods only after the fact. Don't talk about them like they're real, Rodimus Prime. Don't forget to mention they aren't real or else you're perpetuating historical misinformation by not challenging the public consciousness, Rodimus Prime.

Cesare speaking perfect modern english while everyone else is properly speaking Italian is so freakin funny to me. Also, alive!Cesare is a lovely guy and the way he's animated is much more human and lively
(I censored it to show some people. Feel free to go watch the new ep of Bigtop Burger if you don't want the bleep. It's fantastic)

I was working with an item today that just utterly flabbergasted a part of me (the other was deeply frustrated with the catalogue record AS SOMEONE APPARENTLY THOUGHT IT WAS PRINTED ON SILK, coming back to that in a minute) … but ANYWAYS … said item is a replica of a medieval manuscript prayer book THAT IS ENTIRELY WOVEN out of grey and black silk … WOVEN … text, images, intricate grey scale, WOVEN … NOT PRINTED …
And it’s flabbergasting because it’s from 1888, Jacquard machine, IT USED PUNCH CARDS to weave these intricate pages … something like 400 weft per near square inch … IT looks like a page of textured paper, but it’s not, it’s entirely SILK … F*CK …
Anyways …
