Every time I need to retopologize the hips I feel like I'm reinventing the wheel all over again. It's where any dedication I have to nice clean edge loops goes to die. I tried once to make a good topology hip that I could just reuse, like I do with the hands and feet, but I wasn't satisfied with it when I tried to use it on a real mesh.

I'm seeing the boys with boobs. but where are the girls without them? like. idk. you're supposed to be drawing transfems, right? why do they all look the same? they all have boobs and big hips. even if they have tummy you make sure to give them a slut waist. they're all always perfectly clean shaven. enough of this shit. draw a fucking brick. give her some stubble. don't give her tits. draw a girl with some laryngeal prominence. do SOMETHING to indicate that you find non-standard gender presentation acceptable in transfems as well. ANYTHING.

one of my favorite facts about gekko hayashi (artist who drew gay erotica) is that he was straight guy who pivoted from sci-fi & monster stuff to illustrating for gay & bdsm mags at like 50 years old because he wanted to expand his artistic horizons, and compensated by lack of lived experience by setting up a phone line for gay men to call in & recount their stories so he could illustrate them...legend

Had a bit of a mishap where the filament got stuck (embarassingly, it seems I mounted the spool holder backwards and somehow just got lucky to never have a problem with it before) and it wound up not doing a few layers, so Big Mushman got tragically cut in half a little bit but I stuck some putty in there and he's still got his positive attitude.

Tonight on stream, did a little more sculpting and started the retopology. The hands and feet are separate because I made some good ones once and intend to reuse them as much as possible.
