Cannot stop thinking about Anne magill paintings. Maybe my new favorite painter. She just captures this ..,,,,,, dreamy feeling...,,, a certain tenderness..... a fleeting moment of contentedness..... like nothing else I’ve seen

you know when todd is like i won’t read at poetry meetings nobody is gonna want me there i can’t read out loud i won’t do it and neil just looks at him like really looks at him and in the softest voice goes “you really have a problem with that don’t you” and he’s not judging todd at all he just finally understands how todd works and the fact that public speaking (especially to people he barely knows) is something that todd cannot handle and that’s okay and once he understands he just immediately is like okay how do i fix this because i want todd here and i want him to enjoy this with us and he just goes oh perfect i’ll rearrange some things and todd will wanna come :) it’s just so touching and todd probably isn’t used to people accommodating him he doesn’t even know what to do with it . my point is i am going insane over this

Stories where everyone knows the ending are very good actually.
We know they’ll all die but in the meantime, what do they learn? What are we losing? Will they get a satisfying death?
We know how this boy meets girl story ends. But how long will they dance around each other? Will they really love each other or are they doomed in the long term? What friends will they make and lose along the way?
We know that the ring has to be thrown into mount doom. We know that Victor Frankenstein dies in the freezing cold. We know that the rebels will destroy the Death Star. We know that Anansi will win the stories from the sky god. We know that the star crossed lovers will die. What we don’t know is how long the journey is to get there. But the whole time we will be waiting for that ending to strike. Who will live the journey? What tricks will be played? Who or what is waiting for us right before the end? Or at the beginning, for that matter? The journey of these stories is the whole point and they’re very good.
