If you consume fanfic on ao3 and are 18+ and American I need you to lock in and call your senators saying you oppose a federal porn ban. This would effectively ban ao3 and being queer in public, among many other things, due to the intentionally vague language of the bill. I’m counting on queer tumblr and fandom tumblr to help me get the word out that you have to call your senators

On this excellent day, be aware that this is the largest group of freshwater lakes in the world, covering over 95,000 square miles and reaching depths of over a thousand feet. They are beautiful freshwater seas.

Also when you die in these lakes, the very cold, oxygen-poor conditions at the bottom preserves you perfectly for all eternity. You will not rot and nothing will eat you. You will exist for as long as the Great Lakes do. Many shipwrecks still have the crew on board. Be Aware.

coming back on here for a second to warn you all about kosa, and its comeback.

the fight this time will be a lot harder now, more so than ever before, as democrats are a lot more open to showing their support to the bill, despite showing them countless times how horrible this bill truly is.

for this to not pass, we need to also warn republicans, and to get them on our side, along with getting democrats to understand that kosa isn't the bill they think it is.

the time to act is now. call your senators, and house representatives, both democrat, and republican. we already have a similar version of kosa that has already passed recently (the take it down act); we don't need any more of these bills running rampant.
