early relationship johnlock things ✨: 

now whenever Sherlock swoops in over John’s shoulder to read whatever John’s typing on his blog, John kisses and nips at Sherlock’s neck to distract him from his bad writing

John wearing Sherlock’s dressing gowns and rolling up the sleeves and Sherlock loving both the image and being able to still smell John when he wears them later

John washing Sherlock’s hair in the shower, which Sherlock hasn’t had done for him since he was a kid, and which he loves loves loves loves due to this super sensitive scalp

Sherlock expecting that John will spend birthdays and christmases etc with his ‘friends’ at the pub or with his sister like John always has done in the past, and so is incredibly and happily surprised when John is like We’re together now? and I hate everyone ? we’re staying in and doing us 

Sherlock always wanting kisses, always, and not being entirely sure how to ask, so he’ll sit next to John on the sofa and look at his phone but give John furtive looks till John is like ?????? and Sherlock just tips his head forward and looks shyly expectant and John is like oh – Oh ! and gives him a big snog 

eventually John catches on to that, and starts to give Sherlock little kisses without waiting for Sherlock to come and get them, like pressing a kiss to Sherlock’s hair when he’s working in the kitchen, or lifting his hand in the back of a cab and kissing his palm, and Sherlock always melts <3

Mycroft talking about how Sherlock could be a scientist or a philosopher if he wanted to be separate from people and yet he chooses to be a detective to help people, taking AN EXTREMELY LONG PAUSE, like John please understand what I’m telling you here, and slowly says “what might we deduce about his heart” and John Still Doesn’t Get It.

Some People: Sherlock is cold and heartless, he doesn't eat or sleep and he only tolerates people at best

Actual Sherlock: Makes scrapbooks, drinks out of juice boxes, frantically folds napkins, takes naps, watches James Bond with John, makes swishy movements when drunk, tidies the flat, makes John laugh by guessing the fortune cookies, is friendly to children, kisses his landlady, cries because John smiled at him-....
