Whelp, ended up doing another “Trolls AU that has captured me x Disney scene redraw”. This time around, @amethyst-halo’s B&B AU!

I read through the fic in a day and I highly recommend it. Their dynamic is super sweet, I fell in love with them so quick. And I’m a sucker for stories about people who are struggling finally getting a break.

For the drawing, I referenced Lilo and Stitch. Obviously this would be sometime after they learn to swim, and when Bruce is skilled enough at surfing that Branch trusts they won’t wipe out.

It’s been really fun drawing other people’s designs and adapting their headcanons to my style. The more animalistic faces were super fun! Doing that orbeez water almost made me rage quit though lol.

Flying is a very important life skill among any creature that has wings, especially for small prey animals. However, it’s up to the family to teach the young how to use them because it’s also a great source of bonding

It’s not that a pegasus can’t learn once they get older, but they end up replacing the need for flight with other forms of evasive movement to the point they lose interest in learning, rendering them ‘grounded’

Abandoning a young pegasus without teaching them to fly is just as cruel as abandoning them to begin with, if not worse

In Eternally Yours, there is a rule in the shared Upland-Thropp house. Elphaba knows it, Peaches and Liir know it. The only person who doesn’t know is Galinda. That rule is very simple:

If Galinda (Miss Upland) is asleep, excluding fire or bodily injury, DO NOT WAKE HER UP!

It doesn’t matter what time it is, what day it is, or any other circumstance. If Galinda is asleep, she is to be left alone until she wakes up.

That being said, Galinda falling asleep on Elphaba is like having a bomb strapped to her chest. On the rare occasion it happens, she can’t move, she can’t talk. She can’t even breathe too deep or Galinda might wake up. And if that happens, it’s unclear when or if she’ll get back to sleep in the next twelve hours. Elphaba can only pray during these moments that the kids stay occupied and that no one rings the damn doorbell.

alright alright!! so i have evidently read silk chiffon (im also planning to read attrition, just havent had the time w school) AND i cried so i thought id make some fanart c: hope u guys love it

AND THEN. ofc. elphaba as jesus. bc i felt there were many resemblances... (hated for their beliefs, even killed for it, but they rose again, their real dad is a godlike figure, etc etc)

and ofc some more gelphie cuddles. this one i did cuz i missed them (theres like a 2 week difference between the jesus drawing and the rest of these drawings.. which i did this weekend.)

Explanation/Context: Elphaba is in a suit because in the fic this art is from, she’s raised by the Wizard, and it’s the Wizard’s own self-importance changes how Elphaba dresses when she’s young so she looks more like him/how he wants. The Wizard doesn’t know anything about raising girls, and the dresses he chose for Elphaba in her youth didn’t suit her, so he had her in men’s clothing instead cause he’s not actually all that paternal. As the story goes on Elphaba will start to pull away from his ideals and start to dress for herself, once again dawning clothing similar to what we see in film/my own ideas of what she might wear which will include skirts and blouses. *sighs*
