Being Very Normal about dnd is fun because i got thinking about how there are dated logs in act 1 of BG3 that sets the events at the toll house found in the first act late into the month of Uktar's second tenday means that i have a time frame. Relatively speaking that's mid-late November.

BG3 starts in late autumn and continues on into winter.

And considering that along the sword coast, Waterdeep is where the temperate region begins, this makes sense, even with the environments that you see.

Cause, y'know the city of Baldur's gate and the areas east of it along the river Chionthar, where BG3 is set... Are far enough south of Waterdeep that they're likely leaning out of temperate and into subtropical.

I SET UP A PATREON

Since the internet at large is becoming gradually more hostile to NSFW artists i'm gonna be making a few changes going forward, because being an artist in this economy is rough:

Going forward, any and all works that would require the sexual themes label on tumblr will be previewed here, but only posted in full to my patrons

Patrons get to see my artwork the minute it's finished, but I will post sfw and suggestive artworks here 3 days after they've been completed - again, sexual artworks will only be previewed here, and this includes the more erotic pinups.

I will no longer be posting WIPs or polls here, those will now be patreon exclusives!

I will be figuring out how to make time lapse videos of my art process, and some patrons will get early access to these before they become publicly accessible.

When things have calmed down i will hopefully even be streaming my art process on occasion as well - but this is not likely to happen until May at the earliest.

i understand why some ppl might want to make luxu the secret mastermind above it all in the xehaluxu relationship, but i cant get behind it for the sole reason that luxu is STILL ultimately Just Some Lackey

i think it's a key part of his character that he's always submissive to someone else, be it xehanort or the master of masters - he may have the /knowledge/ of the strings but he is very rarely the one actually pulling them. it ties into the role of just...watching. he's a guy who needs instruction and sort of actively puts himself in positions where he needs to be told what to do.

meanwhile xehanort is a far more active force, even when confronted with stuff like being manipulated by his future selves or being railroaded by the master of masters and his prophecy - there's never a moment when it feels like xehanort isn't doing his damndest to take control by whatever means necessary. hell, the quip YX makes about wanting eraqus's comment about light having surprises leans into this- i don't think he would ever let himself be lead around even if he is but a player upon a stage.
