Evie is excited because Chan Hee had asked her if they could meet up and she’s really  missed his company recently. He told her to dress up a bit fancier than normal and she very happily did. She had asked if a dress would be fine and the older boy very happily told her yes. She got dressed and curled her long blonde hair. Once that was done she decided to do her makeup, her dogs not leaving her side. She was for some reason nervous, what if she was underdressed for the first time in her life, or even more overdressed than normal. She just wanted to look nice for Chan Hee, I mean she did have a crush on him. Chan Hee called her while she was getting ready. She didn’t want to look desperate so she let it ring a few times before answering and smiling big as she did.

“Did you want me to pick you up?” He asked her, a smile clearly on his face by the tone in his voice.

She smiles and teases him gently as she speaks. “Why of course I do, isn’t that how we always meet up anymore oppa?~” 

“Then we will be on the way soon. Make sure you’re ready, my beautiful princess.”

With that he hangs up and she can’t help but feel her cheeks flush at him calling her princess. She finishes getting ready putting her boots on and quickly rushes out the door with an oversized trench coat, a bucket hat, and sunglasses on. She didn’t want it to be noticeable that she was wearing anything fancy, let alone an outfit people would assume is a date night outfit, I mean she’s just meeting up with a close friend right? Once she walks outside of her apartment room she gets a message from Chan Hee that they will be there shortly. She takes a deep breath and walks out of the building, rushing to him when she sees them. They exchange a quick hug, like normal before he helps her inside the vehicle. He smiles at her as he begins to drive off.

She chuckles a bit before saying, “You look excited.”

“Well yeah, I’m with you, I’m always excited with you.” His smile is the biggest it’s ever been and he pauses for a moment then shrugs and speaks again. “You make life more enjoyable. I like your company.”

His words cause her to blush slightly. “I also enjoy your company, Chan Hee.” 

“Well I’m glad because I don’t plan on going anywhere.”

She giggles and lays her head on his shoulder for a moment before they drive off in silence for the rest of the ride. She stares out the window and takes a deep breath, suddenly she’s nervous. They get to a restaurant that the two are very familiar with, and once again Chan Hee helps her, and he offers his arm to her, she takes it with a soft smile. This treatment isn’t normal from him but it’s nice, she enjoys it. She stares up at him with a loving look, he’s really cute, his hair looks really nice to her and she wants to run her hand through it.

“You look handsome.~” She cooes softly at him as they walk through the door.

Chan Hee’s cheeks flush slightly. “Thank you, that means the world to me, especially coming from a literal Goddess like yourself.” He says gently back, this time it’s her turn to get flushed.

Once they enter the restaurant they head to where they always sat where it was relatively private and you can’t see it from the door. She takes off her coat and hat, leaving only her sunglasses and mask. Chan Hee couldn’t help but stare at her with borderline hearts in his gaze. He just kept whispering “stunning” or “seriously, stunning” under his breath when he looked at her. Evie felt like a fairy princess in her outfit, and at that moment she just really wanted Chan Hee to be her prince. He gently takes off her sunglasses and tucks her hair behind her ear. 

“You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve set eyes on Evelyn.” Chan Hee says softly, hugging her.

“Awe, thank you! You’re a sweetheart.” Evie says with a smile.

A waitress comes back. “I assume you guys want your regular meals?” she asks gently. The two idols nodded and said “yes please” and the waitress walked off again leaving them alone again.

“What have you been up to Oppa? It’s been a while since we last spoke like this.”

Chan Hee’s tone is gentle and full of love. “I’ve been dreaming about you, Evelyn.” 

Evie smiles, “Hey, is this like a date or something?” she asks curiously.

Chan Hee looks over at her and tilts his head. “Yeah, I guess it is, is that okay with you?”

“Of course it is, I wouldn’t want it to be with anyone else.” She beams, staring over at Chan Hee. “Is there more planned?”

“That, my dearest, is a surprise!” 

“Awe, come on, you know I hate waiting.”

Chan Hee very gently grabs her hand in his before speaking in that same gentle tone as before. “I promise you it’ll be well worth the wait.”

Evie shakes her head and the waitress comes back with their drinks gently placing them on the table. “5 more minutes.” The two idols nod knowing the drill by now.

Once the waitress walks away again Chan Hee speaks again, “You know, blue has always been such a flattering color on you, Evs.” he says, tucking another strand of hair behind her ear again.

She looks down at her outfit and smiles remembering she’s wearing one of her favorite date night dresses. “Why thank you, it’s one of my favorite dresses.” She says with a big smile on her face.

He stands up and gently grabs her hand and guides her to do a spin. She giggles as she does two full spins for him, she always loves the way this dress twirls with her. He pulls her seat out and she sits back down and next thing they know their food is here. They happily eat and do their normal catching up with a bit more of a flirty tone than usual and Evie is clearly happy and Chan Hee is glad he could make her smile, after the time she’s been having recently. After they eat and pay for everything Chan Hee helps Evie put her coat back on and she’s nothing but smiles the entire time, she’s having a great time with her..boyfriend…?

Chan Hee and Evie climb into the car and go for a short drive, it’s very cold but he still wants to stargaze with her, he knows that’s one of her favorite date activities and he doesn’t know when the next time he can take her out will be so he wants to do it now. They drive to one of Evie’s favorite parks and her face lights up like a kid in a candy store.

“Chan Hee! You didn’t have to take us here! It’s so cold. We can just go home, today was already so great!” Evie says to him truthfully.

“Ah, but what if I want to do this for myself too, darling?”

Evie blushes. “Fiiine, but if my legs get cold what will we do.” she pouts rubbing her already semi chilled legs.

“I have a spare blanket and if that isn’t warm enough you can also always have my jacket okay?”

“Okay Chan Hee. Let’s go then.” 

They get out of the car and head to Evie’s favorite tree. When they get there Chan Hee lays out a blanket before he has her sit down and they stare at the stars. They laugh and talk about everything and nothing while stargazing, this is something Evie has been wanting to do for a very long time and she can’t help but love every moment she is having with Chan Hee. She lays her head on his shoulder and he wraps an arm around her shoulders.

“I think I found my favorite star, and it shines the brightest at night.”

Evie tilts her head and looks up at him. “Which star is it, oppa?”

Chan Hee grabs a mirror and gently holds it out in front of Evie with a cheeky smile. “Right there.”

Evie gets extremely flustered to the point she covers her face in the blanket that she had over her legs causing Chan Hee to chuckle lightly. “I thought you’d like that one.” he says to her teasingly. “You like really cheesy things right?”

“Ya!” she threw the blanket toward him causing him to chuckle more, she also starts giggling as well. “Tonight was amazing Chan Hee.”

“Good, I’m glad. You deserve a nice night for a change.” he then clears his throat. “A nice date too.”

“You’re right Chan Hee, this was a lovely date.” She says as she sort of leans on him more, feeling the cold to her bones even with a blanket and a big trench coat.

They sit like that in silence for a few moments just staring up at the stars as it starts to snow and the two end up sort of cuddling as it does. Evie feels really safe here with Chan Hee, it’s been such a long time since she’s felt this safe with a male that was outside of her group, in fact she stopped her casually dating because of her fear of men, so this was a huge step for her. Cuddling with her close friend, who may also soon be someone she’d consider her boyfriend.

“We can go home whenever you start getting too cold.” Chan Hee says while hugging her sort of close to him. 

“Five more minutes?” She asks needily. He smiles big and nuzzles his face into her neck a bit. 

“Five more minutes then I have to take you home okay?”

“Can you stay tonight?” the sudden urgency and fear in her tone shocks Chan Hee a bit.

“You know what? Yeah. I can. I’ll stay tonight. You don’t deserve to be alone.” Chan Hee is clearly breaking a rule here and making a stand. Evie needs him so he’s going to be there for her, as always. 

“I know you aren’t even supposed to be hanging out with me anymore after rumors and stuff but… I feel safe… with you… you know…?”

“I get it, if they ask where I was I will say a family member needed me, they aren’t afraid to lie on my behalf.”

“Are you sure? I don’t want you in trouble..”

Chan Hee gently takes her hands in his again. “I won’t get in trouble Evs, I promise. This can’t become a habit though.”

Evie nods, “understood.” she says with a happy smile.

“Come on now cutie, let's get out of this snow.” Chan Hee says with a slight shiver. “I’m freezing.”

They quickly grab their things and rush to the car, Chan Hee helps her into her seat before putting everything away and climbing into the car himself. “You have a spare phone charger?”

“Naturally.”

“Thank you Evs, I hope you had fun.”

“This was the best date ever Chan Hee.” She says kissing his cheek causes his cheeks to turn bright red.

“So will there be another one?” he asks, raising an eyebrow.

“Obviously.” Evie giggles.

They go back to her apartment and are greeted by her dogs excitedly waiting for their mother’s return. She asks Chan Hee to walk them while she gets into some pjs and he agrees. When she’s done she starts to heat up some water for hot chocolate and starts to remove her makeup. When Chan Hee comes back to her apartment she’s got half her makeup off and he smiles at her.

“You’re so beautiful.”

“Nah, mate, I look a whole mess right now.” She says laughing before going back to making them hot chocolate and sitting on the couch. 

They finish the night with a movie and Evie ends up falling asleep laying on him with her head in his lap on the couch so when the movie is finally off he very gently and carefully carries her to her bed and tucks her in. He softly kisses her head and tucked her in and he helped both her dogs into her bed knowing she enjoyed sleeping with them. He also gave her a plushie, one which he had forgotten to give her til that moment, he hugged it a bit to make it smell like him and then he left the room, leaving the door slightly cracked. He goes to her spare closest in the hall and grabs a spare blanket and pillow before he goes and lays on the couch, quickly falling asleep.

"You Were Suffocating."

Overview: Jamie's first heartbreak. Word Count: 1,646 Tw/cw: Arguing/yelling, hitting, heartbreak/betrayal, and swearing

July, 2021

Jamie hasn’t been able to sleep for a few days, his girlfriend has been acting really weird with him recently, and he can sense something is up. He has asked her on several dates over the past few weeks but she kept making excuses saying that she’s busy doing this or that. It’s currently 3AM and he got a message from his best friend growing up that simply said “I’m sorry.” Jamie was very confused and when he went to press for more answers he realized that his friend had either blocked him or was just ignoring him. He just wanted to know what was going on and he got no replies. Why is he sorry? Last they talked and hung out they were fine, what happened? What did he do?

He could feel his heart sink and he spams Soobin with screenshots and confused emotions. He knew the older boy was likely asleep but he didn’t know who else to go to for something like this. He started to pace his room and went through his contacts to see if anyone was awake but with no success. He scooped up his cat Smores and buried his face in her side as tears fell down. He was so confused as to what was going on anymore. After about an hour he finally fell asleep while Smores sort of purrs against his face and lets him cry.

The next morning while practicing he got a message from his girlfriend saying “Hey, Jammies, we need to talk…” He thought about that message the entire time he was working and when he was able to reply to her “Did you want to meet up? What is going on? Why is everyone acting so fucking weird? I should be done with work at the normal time. Reply whenever you see this PLEASE.” with that he takes back off to finish what he needed to do for his schedule.

When he got to his room he read all the messages from his girlfriend that she had sent. 

Her: “Jammies, I’m sorry but you may not like our conversation, you want to meet up? It may be worse that way.” Him: “Yes, I want to meet up, my love, we need to figure this shit out. I can’t keep living like this. I haven’t slept for 3 whole days. The sooner we meet up the better.” Her: “Meet me at our usual spot in 15 minutes?” Him: “Yeah. On my way.”

Jamie rushes out the door with his dog Snickers, their usual spot is a park not far from his dorms. He used to sneak out to meet up with her all the time back when he was a trainee but he’s been way busier since his debut, and he’s felt very guilty because of it. She keeps telling her she understands and that it’s fine but it seems like that’s not true anymore. He feels like he’s neglecting some of her needs, he’s afraid of her breaking up with him.

Jamie paces the length of the park twice before he sees a familiar figure approaching him, he doesn’t feel the usual spark, the usual happy energy that radiates off her, instead it feels cold. He stiffens as he walks toward her slowly, holding Snickers’ leash rather tightly. Soon they are inches apart, he wants to wrap her in his embrace and kiss her but something deep inside him stops him.

The slightly older girl speaks first. “Jamie… I’m sorry…”

Jamie nearly growls, his usual gentle understanding toward his girlfriend is just turning into annoyance and anger. “Can you fuckers quit saying that with no explanation?! What happened? Why are you sorry?!” 

The girl gently grabs his hand and leads him to sit at a nearby bench and she sits near him without touching him anymore. She sighs and hands him her phone as she begins to run her hand through her hair. Jamie stares at her in confusion.

“You know I trust you, why are you handing me your phone?” Jamie asks with a bit of a hurt tone.

“You shouldn’t trust me Jamie. I hurt you. Look.” She points to the contact of his childhood best friend. He can see the last message she sent him was:

“Ya, I had a really nice time last night, please let’s do it again. Don’t worry about Jamie, I’ll deal with that. I know you feel just as hurt as I do by it, but it’s done now. We can’t live with that regret forever.”

After he read it he just threw her phone down and stared at her, Snickers is now hiding under the bench. “What the fuck does that mean dude?”

“Exactly what you think, Jamie I’m sorry. It just sort of happened.”

“WITH MY BEST FRIEND?!” The pain in his raised tone is evident. 

“Jamie, let me explain more, please.” the girl pleads but Jamie feels disgusted and doesn’t give a fuck what she has to say anymore, but of course he is willing to hear her out, I mean he was going to propose to her after his next in between promotion time, he had the ring already.

“What? What is there to explain?” His tone is harsh and he’s trying not to cry.

“It’s sort of your fault.” she starts before shoving him a bit to create more space between them which causes him to fall to the ground, he just sits where he landed and stares at her in disbelief. 

“My fault? You fucking MY BEST FRIEND is MY fault? Fucking HOW? Enlighten me. HOW?!” He’s now standing over, his face inches from hers. She slaps him hard and he takes a staggered step back, this would be the second time she has hit him since they got back together in 2015.

“I stopped loving you a long time ago Jamie. You’re just so fucking clingy and needy I felt like shit leaving you. You were SUFFOCATING. I felt like if I left you you’d hurt yourself.” She hisses at him, spitting at his feet. “You were clearly falling more and more in love with me when I felt like we were just going to be a temporary chapter. I apologize but I just never had the heart to break up with you. Until now. Your best friend was there for me when I dealt with you talking about your stress all the time. I felt like I could never go to you for anything you always made about YOU. So, I’m breaking up with you Jamie.”

“You felt like you could never come to me for anything yet told me about all your issues? Yeah. That makes sense…” He pauses for a moment before speaking again. “Is this the true you? A player who wants to tear people down?” Jamie asks coldly he can feel his soul shattering as she speaks. He was suffocating? Why didn’t she say so? 

“Jamie… I’m still the person you love, I just-”

Jamie holds up a hand and cuts her off, “No, the woman I love I wanted to marry, this person before isn’t someone I even know.” 

“If you were falling out of love with me you should’ve broken it off then, I spent all this time planning our wedding in my head and planning our future together just for you to not even love me the same way. Do you know how that feels? No, you don’t because to me you were my everything, I even told you I would leave my group if it meant you and I could be together and you told me not to.”

“Jamie…”

“Shut up, please, just, shut up.” Jamie says his voice cracking now as tears threaten to fall. “I treated you like royalty, and you do this to me? You didn’t deserve my time, my energy or my love. You can keep my so-called best friend. I never want to hear from either of you fuckers again. I’d give you the world and you turned around and used me, for what?”

“I didn’t use you Jamie.”

“Oh?” He raised an eyebrow in disbelief and started laughing. “You didn’t? Then what? You just lead me on?”

“I didn’t do that either.”

“You’re an idiot.” Jamie scoffs and grabs ahold of Snickers’ leash again that he just realizes that he had dropped. “I wasn’t kidding about not wanting to hear from you two. You are dead to me.” with that he walked away with Snickers. His now ex-girlfriend is screaming at him to come back and finish the conversation but for him he heard what he needed from her. She hasn’t loved him for a long time and went to someone he thought was his best friend about things that she didn’t even need to do. He doesn’t know who he’s more mad at, her or him. He was supposed to be Jamie’s ride or die but yet he fucks the girl that he knows Jamie wants to be with forever. 

When he goes back to his dorm he shoots a message to the group chat of his members and simply says “I’m asking for a hiatus. My anxiety has kept me up for three days. I can't keep doing this right now.” Jamie curled into his bed with all three of his pets and just sobbed for the rest of the night after he put his phone on to DND to ignore all outside voices. He just wants to rot. He was suffocating? How? He just tried to be a good boyfriend, how was that suffocating. He regrets now not asking her to go into more details about that. 

“I love you…” He says as he stares at photos of the two of them together that he has in a private folder on his phone. He will eventually need to delete these but not tonight…

On June 5th, 2021 an article went out posting leaked photos of the two boys simply hanging out that claimed that they were in a relationship. When the two boys found out they were both shocked and they both denied it Jamie even stating bluntly to his managers that he is straight. On the 7th HYBE set out an official statement shutting it down as did each of the idols. Jamie mentioned in his statement that he just wants to be able to be with his friends without rumors spreading.

Dating Scandal with Moon Sua

On Moon Sua’s birthday (September 9th) in 2021 Jamie made a post with two selfies of him with Moon Sua and Moonbin wishing the female idol a happy birthday and that sparked a lot of eyes on the duo. After that a lot of people looked into past interviews and streams to see if Moonbin or Jamie have talked about any sort of potential relationship and there was a viral clip of Moonbin more or less giving his blessing if they wanted to date saying Jamie was a good man so why not and then they could be brothers and how it would be "cute." However, much to the dismay of the public both idols and their companies denied the rumors in July of 2022. Jamie said in his statement the following: “This is ENHYPEN’s Jamie here to tell you guys that I am not currently in a relationship with Moon Sua, nor anyone else. This girl is someone Jamie used to go to school with and they dated before he even became a trainee. Jamie thought this girl would be his forever. However, since the breakup he has not been interested in dating again. The company and the public do not know about this relationship, he’s never really talked about it before with anyone but when the breakup happened you could tell he was going through something because he shut people out a lot more harshly than he used to. 

She broke up with him after admitting she cheated on him with his childhood best friend, who he is no longer friends with because she ended up being with that friend. She told him that she started to lose feelings for him about two years in but he seemed to get more attached to her during that time period and she never had the heart to break things off with him until after she cheated. She broke up with him the following day she cheated because she felt bad and didn’t want to hurt him more so she wanted to end it soon after. She said that she didn’t know if she actually was falling out of love until the night she kissed his best friend.

Jamie has severe trust issues from this situation and he has no interest in dating anymore as he’s scared of being hurt again. He has decided to work on his clinginess if he can and try to be a more independent man who can have a much clearer control over his emotions.

Evie really didn't want to wear white but she didn't really argue or throw a fit about it. The staff decided to make her white and purple instead of white and blue so she can stand out more, something they've grown to enjoy doing at this point.

During the MV the she's seen most with Lee Know and Chan however there are a couple of scenes where you can see her holding hands and clinging with Hyunjin or Felix. She is seen smiling almost the entire MV and she seems genuinely happy, it seems she's becoming a lot more confident on camera as well.

During her solo scenes she's either sitting under or leaning against a tree. New Posting Schedule

Hello everyone I am starting a new posting schedule.

During the first week of every month I will not be make any posts to make sure I do not get burnt out or over worked on this blog. I have been really sick recently so I'm sorry if the quality of my posts this past week have been bad or not up to par, I will be going back and fixing certain posts as is due to feeling like they could be better.

In the month of March I will be debuting my (G)I-DLE addition named Jazlyn the alternating days will be her and then the following day will be both Jamie (at his normal 12PM EST) and Evie (at her normal 2PM EST) or just Jamie depending on how I am feeling that day. Until everyone is debuted each month the posting schedule will be different but once everyone is debuted I'll be doing one post 6 days a week.
