alright! i’ll do both of your prompts (bc i don’t have anything else to be doing–) and i’m gonna start with the angsty one! i got inspiration from day6’s ‘how can i say’, so it is recommended that you listen to that while reading! (or just search up the lyrics to get the general jist of it) 

i tried a new spin on angst (bc usually its like. aleks ending it with the reader) i tried to switch it up for Maximum Sad so enjoy !! 

i usually try to avoid putting (y/n) or any variation of it in these reader insert fics but sometimes, i have to. (y/h/t) = your hometown.

the fact that you even made it this far into the relationship was a surprise. you weren’t exactly one for romance in the first place. in the beginning, though, things were perfect.

aleks marchant didn’t try to be the most romantic guy on earth, but with you he couldn’t help it. he would send flowers to your door randomly, show up with soup and medicine when you were sick. despite how demanding his job was, he would always make time for you. he did it because he wanted to make you happy. he did it because your happiness was his main priority.
