I keep thinking of how Loop appeared ”shy” to the party, and how hopeful they were to be seen as Siffrin. It’s so Siffrin of them to freeze up and not be able to keep it the saccharine facade in such a moment, that’s exactly how the character of ”Siffrin” would react in that situation, but the cheery character of ”Loop” wouldn’t.

I keep thinking of thw little hints throughout the game towards their identity that seem obvious second time around, and the small cracks showing their normal behaviour isn’t honest whenever they’re caught off guard.

Maybw they hoped someone, anyone, wouldve been able to recognice them even in this entirely new form. That they were still real. Still them. But no one did, not even their other self

Biggest eyes can I do the honor of asking you what your opinion on Loop is?

Loop makes me so fucking sad but just like Siffrin they are sooooo tormentable. A large chunk of the fandom does however fall for their mask which is unsurprising but still disappointing. They’re not actually the cunty little freak they pretend to be but are in fact a deeply sad and traumatized person. Their choice to help Siffrin despite everything and the way they show time and time again how much they care is such a beautiful metaphor for self love and I die every time. And then their breakdown in act 6 when they realize they will never have their happy ending oughhhh. Gets so sad I throw up!!!!!

They’re also THE gender of all time I wanna look like them so bad it’s unreal.

@moipale's new postcanon loop oneshot tidelocked is really, really good. however sometimes to write really really good fic you need to take a break to write really really dumb scenes

in case it isn't already clear: this comic is 100% a goof, based on a completely contextless equally-goofy screenshot of the wip document from very early in the making. however, the fic itself is entirely genuine; my fervent plea to read it, entirely meant.

tidelocked is 14.8k of loop's postcanon persistence in someone else's home, in someone else's life, in a fifth bedroom by the seaside -- and true to faedemon form, every last word of it is utterly, utterly devastating from beginning to gut-wrenching end.

if you've read tidelocked you will know full well all the ways this illustration doesn't actually make sense as a faithful recreation of the scene it would have been from, but hey! it's a goof. we're calling it bonus content. if you haven't read the fic, know that i am strongly urging you to go read the fic so you can point and laugh at the inaccuracies with the rest of us. i promise you will not regret it
