may is mental health awareness month, so, you know, when you are going through a rough time, often the stuff people try to say to you does not really help.
"It will get better."
"You matter."
"You are loved."
Because, no. Sometimes it doesn't feel like it gets better. Sometimes you don't feel like you matter. Sometimes you don't feel loved. And who the hell do those people think they are, those who know nothing about the situation you are in, those who do not even come close to comprehending what you feel? Those who make empty promises, like "it will get better"?
Despite their good intentions, sometimes the comfort you crave doesn't reach you.
Which means you need to find comfort on you own: you need to find comfort in the way your friend does her make up, you need to find comfort in the way the sun hits your window, you need to find comfort in the softness of a blanket, you need to find comfort in the taste of lemonade on your tongue, you need to find comfort in wind shaking trees, you need to find comfort on the pages of the book you are reading, you need to find comfort between the frames of the movie you are watching, you need to find comfort in a stranger's kindness, you need to find comfort in the mirrored version staring back at you at 1 in the morning.
It is easy to lose your way, but most importantly, you need to find your way again with little steps. You need to move forward at your own pace, in your own time.
If you choose to move forward you will inevitably find your way again. It will be a different, foreign path, but it will be your path. Yours alone.
but that's just how I see it

Trump & Netanyahu really thought they can violate ceasefire agreement & plan to displace Gazans once they get all captives from Hamas & the latter would just simply comply.
Hamas is now postponing prisoner exchange until Israel delivers humanitarian aid according to agreement.
We still need your support and help. The occupation is still obstructing the entry of aid, especially to northern Gaza. Any small donation will help us restore our lives. Thank you. Donate here.

🌟 For Life or What? 🌟
We don't even know anymore. Khaled, my little one, has started pronouncing the word "bombing," and it terrifies me.
I’m not here to beg or list every detail—because even an entire newspaper wouldn’t be enough. The images on TV screens and the stories you see online already tell you so much about what we endure. But no matter how much you see, you’ll never truly feel what we feel. And I wouldn’t wish this life on anyone.
We are victims of conflicts we never chose. We love life—deeply, desperately—as long as we’re allowed to live it. We don’t want war, we don’t want destruction. All we want is a future. A future for ourselves, for our children—a future like every other human being deserves.
Tumblr media
How You Can Help In this moment of despair, I reach out to you—not just as a stranger, but as a fellow human being. Our humanity connects us, and compassion knows no boundaries. Your kindness, no matter how small, can bring a glimmer of hope to our lives, shattered by war.
Here’s what we’re trying to rebuild: 💔 $5,000 for the father. 💔 $5,000 for the mother. 💔 $2,500 for Khaled. 💔 $2,500 for Intesar. The rest will go toward essential living expenses—because there’s no safety net here, no hospitals, no medicine, no healthy food.
Our baby has been sick countless times, and every evacuation has only made things worse. We need help to survive, to heal, and to dream of a better tomorrow.
Even a Little Means Everything We appreciate your help, even if it’s just a small donation or simply sharing our story. Every bit of support matters. Together, we can rebuild what’s been taken from us and find hope amidst the rubble.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

🌟 A Plea from Gaza: Rola’s Story 🌟
Hello, my name is Rola, and I am a mother of two children living in the Gaza Strip. Our lives were once filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future. But everything changed on October 7th, when the war shattered not only our home but our entire world.
That morning, my family and I were enjoying coffee together on the balcony. Out of nowhere, an explosion erupted, shaking our home violently. My husband and son ran for cover, falling over each other in panic, while I stood frozen, still holding my cup, unable to process the chaos around me. When I looked out the window, I saw that our neighbor’s house, once filled with life, had been reduced to rubble. Ambulances rushed to the scene as people scrambled to rescue the injured and pull bodies from the debris.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bombings didn’t stop. At night, the rain poured heavily, and the cold seeped into our bones. I stayed awake, covering my children to keep them warm and praying for their safety. But safety is an illusion here. Another explosion shattered the night, and our neighbors’ home was destroyed. Their children, who had been sleeping peacefully under a blanket, were found lifeless, their cover soaked in blood.
I looked at my children with tears in my eyes and thought, How can I protect you? We had to flee our home with nothing but the clothes on our backs. We left behind my children’s toys, their clothes, and their beautiful bedroom. Everything we had worked so hard to build is gone.
Tumblr media
Our Current Reality Now, we are displaced and living in a nightmare. Food is scarce, and prices are unimaginably high—$10 for a kilo of sugar! The fear of death hangs over us constantly. My children deserve a life of joy and hope, not one defined by fear and loss. Why can’t we live like everyone else—go to work, visit family, and watch our children play in safety? Why do our children have to grow up surrounded by death and destruction?
How You Can Help I am pleading for your kindness to help us rebuild our lives. We need your support to: 💔 Rebuild our home, so my children can feel safe again. 🌍 Evacuate from Gaza, seeking a future where my family can live with dignity. 🩺 Provide urgent medical care for my children, who need protection from this nightmare.
Even the smallest donation can make a difference. If you can’t donate, please share my story. Every share brings us closer to hope.
What Your Support Means Your kindness is not just about helping us survive; it’s about giving us a chance to dream again. To rebuild what we’ve lost and to ensure my children have a future filled with possibilities, not fear.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your support means the world to us. Let’s work together to rebuild hope, one step at a time.
🌸 Please share our story and consider donating today. 🌸
Together, we can create a better tomorrow. 🌍❤️

My family lives in the north of Gaza where is a scarcity of food. I have 4 sisters and 3 brothers; one of my brothers died while he was trying to find food for the family so i am the eldest in my family now i have to provide for their daily living expenses.

Some bruises never really heal. Sometimes you lose someone really close to you and the pain that comes with it barely fades.
So, I hope this year all of you have a quiet Christmas - whether you’re mourning the loss of a loved one, whether you are not in contact with your family anymore, whether you are going through a break up, whether you’re having a hard time in school or at work, whether you’re not doing well physically or mentally.
You got this. Have faith in yourself.
I’m counting on you.

Donations needed urgently
My family and I are halfway to our goal, and we need as much help as we can get!
This donation was verified by @gazavetters , and is number 43 in the spreadsheet.
We don't ask for much, just 10€ should be enough!
By donating, you are not only helping me, you are saving me and my family.
We have managed to raise 26,000€ since the beginning of our campaign thanks to you, and like any other Palestinian fighting for his life against the oppressors, I do not wish for us to surrender to the murderous regime. Please, together we can raise enough to afford basic necessities and also to enable us to escape through the border crossing, once it opens.

Please do not watch the post silently. 🙏🙏🩸
My children are in danger 🚨🚨😢
They need security. 🙏🕊
Because we live a life that is not fit for human life.🙏😢😢
This is part of our suffering.😟👇
You wake up in peace and safety to the pleasant sound of birds.
Unfortunately, we wake up to the sound of planes and explosions, which is really scary for me and my children.😢😢🩸
As you pass the bathroom, you wash your faces and brush your teeth. We stand in line to Entering the bathroom . 😢💔
When we come to wash our faces we don't find soap, and even the price of toothpaste has reached a point that makes us say no no 😞😞💔
Our children are suffering from malnutrition. We can't find any food to eat in the markets. But at a very high price.🙏🚨🚨🌾
And when you prepare a meal for yourself and your children, all that is left for us is yesterday's bread, which is cold and dry and contains nothing, and we prepare it from dirty, spoiled flour that is not worthy of being food for animals. Is this human dignity?😞😢💔
We suffer a lot in the tents. - The spread of insects and infectious skin diseases. I suffered from chronic high blood pressure due to the heat of the tents at first, but I also suffer from Chronic stomach diseases(Duodenal infections, bacteria and the Mediterranean ).😢💊🩸
Often we wish we could go back to how we were before the war, to go back to our simple lives.🙏
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, our children have lost all their rights, the most important of which is education.😢📚✏️
We suffer from the lack of clean water, otherwise it is very difficult.😢💧
Tumblr media
I hope everyone who sees this post will help me to stay alive and to meet the needs of my children. 🙏🙏❤️

Save my orphan children
Tumblr media
I am Inas, a mother of two young children: Muhammad, 7 years old, and Hala, 5 years old. They should have been living their childhood like all children—safe and warm in the embrace of their father. But the war has stolen that dream from us😭😭😭
Six months ago, my husband Anas, a kind-hearted man who endured a life of poverty, was killed by a random shell while on his way to work as a taxi driver. Since that tragic day, I’ve been left to carry the unbearable weight of life alone.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I held a diploma in international secretarial studies and was about to start a job to help support my family. But the war shattered not only our home but also my hopes and dreams. We’ve been displaced six times and now live in a tent that offers no shelter from the bitter cold or the ever-looming fear.
My young children face relentless hunger that weakens their fragile bodies and a cold that knows no mercy for their small hearts. Each day, their cries for warmth and food grow louder, and each day, I feel more helpless to provide them with even the basics of life💔😭😭
Tumblr media
I appeal to your humanity, to your compassion. We need your help to survive, to find a safe shelter, and to feed my children. Your generosity could be the reason Muhammad and Hala continue to live and find hope amidst this darkness🥹
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please, help me keep the light of these innocent children from being extinguished by this cruel world

🚨 We Need Your Kindness to Survive 🚨
Hello, My name is Mosab Elderawi, and I live in Gaza with my family. Life here has become harder than I ever imagined, and I’m writing this with hope in my heart that you might hear our story.
The ongoing war has devastated my family. We’ve lost 25 family members—each one a beloved part of our lives, taken too soon. I miss them deeply—their laughter, their presence, their love. Every day is a reminder of this unimaginable loss.

We are now facing daily challenges to survive—things that most people take for granted, like food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. The harsh realities of life here have replaced our dreams with the constant fight for survival.
Our Current Situation:
💔 Lost Stability: The war has left us without work or a stable source of income. 🍞 Basic Needs: Food and water are becoming harder to afford with rising prices and scarce resources. 📚 Dreams on Hold: Like so many here, my family’s dreams have been replaced by the need to simply survive. 😢 Unimaginable Loss: Losing 25 loved ones has left a void that can never be filled.
How You Can Help:
I’m sharing our story with the hope that someone out there might care. Even $5 can make a big difference for us, and if you’re unable to donate, just reblogging this post can help spread the word.
Your kindness, no matter how small, is something we’ll never forget.
What This Means to Us:
Your support is not about changing our entire situation—it’s about giving us a little relief, a little hope, and a way to keep going. We are not asking for much, and we understand if you can’t donate. Sharing our story is just as valuable to us as a donation.
Thank you for reading this far. It means the world to us to know that someone is listening. Your kindness gives us strength and helps us believe in a better tomorrow.
With all our gratitude, Mosab Elderawi and Family ❤️
