Author's Note: I was on my millionth rewatch and went where the creativity took me. I'm still shaking off the old writing cobwebs, so I'm still a little rusty. Despite Brock’s innumerable body count/blasé approach to dating, he would be a great boyfriend 

And I am willing to die on that hill 

The way you met would be unconventional but exciting in a way that captivated him

It would be like a romcom moment when he would see you across the bar, or you would lock eyes as you walk into a sphinx (or OSI) briefing for the first time

Would instantly fall in love with you if you beat him in a fight

I refuse to believe that Brock isn’t the kind of person who would fall hard and deeply in love with you

Underneath that rugged exterior is a big softie who is scared to feel the vulnerability of being enamored with someone and not just experiencing the fleeting feeling of lust

I feel like Brock is the silent but passionate type just by going on pure vibes

The kind of person who is protective and possessive without being toxic

But I feel like once he lets you in and comes to terms with his feelings, y’all would be locked in for life

You got the man who has never considered marriage in his life, planning an engagement and ring shopping after the third date

He is definitely the “asshole to everyone but you” kinda guy

Like a feral cat you have to get to trust yourself over a few months 

Your interactions would be short and awkward in the beginning, and would steadily get more intentional as he gets to know you better

He would absolutely lose his suave, cool, calm, and collected persona around  you

Brock also obviously has the gift-giving and acts of service love languages 

He would leave you little anonymous gifts in your gear bag or put snacks in your locker just to let you know he was thinking about you since it was hard for him to put those feelings into words

As the relationship progresses, he would bring you random knickknacks or obscenely expensive presents (there is no in-between) from places he visits on missions or adventures with the Ventures

And he would always put them where he knew you would find them, like on your dresser or right next to your favorite mug in the kitchen cabinet

Oh, and don’t even get me started on how he loves doing acts of service

We all know Brock is a very handy and dependable guy

You have a leaky sink?

He fixes it.

Its time for an oil change?

He’ll do it before you even consider bringing your car to a mechanic.

He finds so much pleasure in doing things for you (even though he would never admit it)

Sure, he feels self-conscious at times about how hard it is for him to talk about his feelings for you, but anything he can do to show you how he feels or make you smile is a win for him
