We are all infinitely strong. We are all incredibly powerful. It’s only the lack of knowing that, that makes a difference in our actions. We may not have always been considered “strong.” Sometimes statements that say “Strong women...” do this, or behave this way doesn’t land well for me. It’s meant to be encouraging, but can actually be toxic in some ways. Women that are typically recognized as strong are often built through their storms, not born. Even “weak” women are enduring their struggles in the best way they can at that point in their lives.
