she WANTED to believe they’d never be caught. but the fact it…they MIGHT. so they made the decision to run. she was barely waking when he had stopped at a gas station. the skies outside were yellow, the sun was rising. she yawned, looking around. they were in the middle of no where, so it seemed. he came back out, into the car, and she smiled sleepily over at him. “’ey…did ya get me anything sweet?” she asked, looking over at him and  smiling brightly.
