Hyunjin B-day Short: (I dont know)

You had moved to with your best friend Felix to la, than had moved in with all of his friends, one of which you has a crush on, and you were planning to tell him soon.

You jumped on your bed, sighing after a long day of work. You grabbed your phone from your bedside table, opening it and reading the hundreds of messages your friends would spam you with. You looked your friend Rachel’s texts, and about how she’d gotten a new dog. Then your cousin Laura, who had just been guaranteed to go to Hawaii for her year 12 trip. Finally you got to Hyunjin. You read the first text, ‘hey!’- 4:49. That wasn’t how you wanted it to start but it’s alright. ‘I’ll be getting food soon, what do you want?’- 5:21. You sighed again, thinking about what you wanted. You couldn’t put your mind on thinking about food, since it kept getting distracted by images of hyunjin. You’d just wish he liked you back, you wished he would tell you about how he loved you, and you wished he’d kiss you by the sea in front of a beautiful sunset. You snapped our fo your trance, hearing a knocking on your door. You put down your phone, without checking the time, and walked towards the knocking. You opened the door, expecting to see Felix or Woojin. “Hi!” said hyunjin cheerfully. “Hey” you said back, trying to sound happy. “You never answered me so I thought I’d get you your favourite.” He said with a smile. You smiled back at him, “thanks hyunjin. Where’s the boys?” You asked. “They’re eating out” He answered. “Oh, cool, wanna eat now?” You asked him. “Sure!” He responded, looking hungry.

You slid past him into the hallway, making your way towards the table. He followed you with the bag of food into the kitchen. He placed down the food on the counter, taking a deep breath in, inhaling the scent of the freshesly cooked meat and veggies. You grabbed out a container of food, labeled with your favourite meals name. Walking to the cupboard, you grabbed a set of chopsticks for you and hyunjin, spinning on your heels to give them to him. “For you, sir” you said as you handed him the chopsticks, addressing him like he was of a higher rank. “Why thank you, madam” taking the hint of a joke. You laughed pleased that he had caught on. You grabbed your chopsticks and the box of food and slid across the slippery wooden floors towards the window. “I’m gonna eat outside, wanna come with?” You asked him. “Sure”

You stepped outside, onto the deck of the house you shared with 9 others. It overlooked the beautiful city, followed by the stunning ocean, reflecting the amazing orange glow of the setting sun. You sat down in one of the deck chairs, crossing your legs and putting your food in your lap.

You ate silently, with hyunjin next to you, both admiring the sunset. You were trying to concentrate on the sunset, but you keeps getting distracting by him. You are always glancing over at him, and trying not to look suspicious while doing it. You finished quickly, and by now the sunset looked almost pink.

You asked him if he wanted to walk with you down to the beach, and he agreed.

You walked down the sidewalks of the city, nearing the beach. You were shaking with excitement and fear, and were dreading and also looking forward to the next moments. By the time you had gotten to the beach, the sunset was a beautiful purple. You raced hyunjin down the pier, making sure to laugh and smile the whole way. You eventually got to the end, losing but having a very good time. “Beat you” He panted. “I don’t care, cause I have something else on my mind”

“What?” He asked

“I’ve been meaning to tell you this for a while. I’ve been dreading this moment, but also waiting for the right time, and I think now is the perfect time”

You pulled out the rose you had picked from the vase at home before coming, looking down and holding it in your shaking palms.

“I really hope you like me back, otherwise I’d be weird between us from now on.” You gave him the rose, blushing.

Looking into his eyes, you laughed nervously, tapping your feet on the wooden pier.

“You should’ve told me earlier, silly!” He said, while blushing. He pulled you up onto your toes, leaning in for a kiss. You were shocked when your lips touched his, and it took you about 5 seconds to respond. When you did, all you did was grin while kissing him in the beautiful light of the sun, your arms wrapped around his neck.

You pulled away, pleased.

“So uhh, will you be my boyfriend?”

“You know the answer” he said while grinning.

I know it was bad , and a day late, but I rushed to get this finished and made it up while writing it. I still hope y’all liked it!
