ah, i should post an update about the cat. see more below the cut but tl;dr he and our bank account are both gonna be ok! 👍

so a while ago i made this post concerning some health concerns we had about him and we were especially worried that we would have to pay a lot of money to take care of his issues. well, he's perfectly fine now. the thing on his chest is just a lump of fat, his heart is fine (he even made a few friends at the cardiologist lol), and he only had one little tooth removed. The cost of everything was far less than we thought, which is a MASSIVE weight off of our shoulders. i'll still keep the goal up but i'll have to change the amount, and i'll keep offering ko-fi requests. but basically, he's fine and he's been tripping pretty hard on the painkillers they gave him. he's been aggressively affectionate and has lost all sense of what "personal space" is and enthusiastically headbutts us. he's basically himself, but turned up to 11.

he's looked like this for a few days now. they must have given him the GOOD stuff.

in any case, i'd still like to extend my thanks to those who helped out by sharing my post around and giving me coffees. perhaps we'll be able to buy him something nice for all his troubles. maybe some churu... churus for puru's cat...

bug fables is 5 years old now, and with it came a free update to the game that added a fishing minigame. so of course i had to draw tanjerin trying out this "fishing" thing he's heard so much about... though i think he isn't so worried about the worms as much as he's more interested in just sitting around eating snacks. (maybe he would have more luck if he actually threw in the rinds...?)

oh, two things i forgot to mention

1. im kinda discouraging minors from interacting in general (but ultimately cant stop anybody from doing anything, like im not your mom so...) because i might decide to post things that are slightly more mature than what i post here. also talking to people half my age makes me shrivel up and raisinify like a dried persimmon because it makes me feel super ancient (slightly joking but also dude i JUST turned 30 why should i speak to someone that was born when i was in highschool? that's scary...)

2. partially im doing this because im pretty worried that tumblr is going to vanish someday and i'd like to expand my alternatives. maybe one day ill consider going back to newgrounds but the only reason i dont upload to newgrounds more often is just because i quite literally forget it exists all the time LOL
