i never wanna like.. be the guy who's like "LADIES SHOULD COVER UP/NEVER BE SEXY" but i truly think that sometimes there's just.. too much of 'sexy woman wrestler' in aew. its like ok.. WE CANT ALL have the ass move, we cANT ALL have gear that's not practical to hold everything in during matches so we have to keep readjusting...

idk it would be nice to see some wrestlers like, grow out of that a bit. for example i think ann@ jay has so much potential, but it feels liek she sometimes falls back into being sexy. like she has a beautifuL BODY I HAVE EYES but how can you REALLY wrestle when you're wearing small panties and a wire bra....

lIKE if you're harl2y cameron on rampage fine bUT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE PUSHED AS A SERIOUS WRESTLER! and thats not to say you cant be sexy and wrestle bc i think she actually has better alternative gears that are both hot but also practicaL

idk its something that's been bugging me a lot, i dont think the entire roster has this problem, but i see it's something common with the wrestlers who are not...up to the skillset of like w1llow or stat.

it's like they're more used to the presentation rather than the actual wrestling, which makes sense why they walk out in stuff that's like impossible to properly work iN MDIOSHDFS..

NOT A BIG DEAL.. just a thOUGHT

#this #I agree so much even for other companies #no sexy unpractical gear doesn't mean ugly bland gear either #What I find the saddest is women like Natalya #gear is almost dazzle camouflage-ing her moves from how strappy and body show off it is #even on the “serious” aspect #like a bra is a bra and there needed for technical reason but ass straps are such a pointless adition to most outfits #there is a reason why no “serious” male character wear them #and the cost of the female wrestler gear vs the one for the male #even if you remove the makeup/hair/nail ring gear with underwire is more complex to make #let's not even talk about how normalised the use of rhinestone + other expendable like pantyhoses that does rack up in the end plus #rant over but great fucking original post #it was a very your local crazy person do a monolog in the subway #there is typos but phone posting is hard lol
