A small laugh escaped from him, seeing her wanting to be picked up. Picking her up, his arms held onto her making sure she wouldn’t fall, and continued to comfort her. He was here if she needed be comforted as it continued to thunder. It probably wouldn’t stop for awhile too.
“It’s alright Kadia. It won’t bring any harm to you and your grandpa is here to make sure you’re safe from the thunder.”
“Uh huh!”
Kadia stared up at him, her small hands letting go of his clothes to grab upwards gesturing that she wanted to be picked up. She was a rather jumpy little girl and needed the comfort of her grandfather.
“It’s scaring me-e.”

Seeing the young girl run up to him and clutch onto his clothes, he comforted her seeing the thunder had scared her. Though, there was nothing to be afraid of. The thunder wouldn’t bring any harm to her.
“It’s okay Kadia, I’m here. Did the thunder startle you?”
puting-pangil liked your post “Like this post for a starter”
“Grandpa-a!”
The young girl let out a small squeak as she ran at him, clutching onto his clothing as the loud clashes of thunder grew outside. “I’m scared-d.”

Even if Kakashi didn’t stop, he had continue to follow after them. They were already past the cemetery and he wondered just where was Kakashi going. When she came to the stop, the first thing he saw was a sign that had his name. It was then he realized where they were. Why did she bring him here? Was it to show that his own ninken were now in this cemetery? The ones he had entrusted Kakashi to? Considering how many years had passed, he shouldn’t be surprised their days would be up. Looking at the grave of his ninken, he wondered how they’d react seeing he was alive again, while they were the ones dead.
His attention was drawn when Kakashi spoke of what happened to his own ninken, after his death. Eyes had widened hearing of what they had done. They were waiting for him? Didn’t they know he was dead, and there was no need to wait for him anymore? Even so, they waited. His teeth clenched and so did his hands that turned into fists, thinking about them waiting for him. An apology wouldn’t be enough to show his ninken that he was thankful for them for being loyal in the end, even after his death. Because of his death, they had to go through so much, hoping one day he’d return. It did seem like he abandoned them, huh? He didn’t tell them of the situation and what was going to happen in the future. He kept quiet, not wanting them to get involved. Just by doing that was all too cruel, no?
Then, Sakumo listened to Kakashi as they speak of her mother. She remembered him? That woman. Even suffering from Alzheimer, she was able to remember him. And she was waiting for him. Was he the only thing she couldn’t forget? Even being told he was dead repeatedly, she still believed he was alive and was going to return someday. But in reality, her heart was breaking away, not being able to see him as time passed, and until her time was up. When Kakashi had suddenly shoved a jar at him, he held it and looked at it. There was an origami star in there? But, being told that his wife had been making them everyday with wishes on them, and that it was for him, told him that she had wanted to see his face again. Even if it was just for a moment, but she didn’t get that at all. She didn’t have to do this. With her condition, there was no need to. But, even so, she did it anyways. He was the only thing that may had been on his wife’s mind. But in her last breaths, he wasn’t there for her. He was gone before her time was up.
To be told of all of this and remain composed was all but difficult for him. Mixed emotions ran through him. Guilt for committing seppuku, and leaving all the things he had cared and loved behind. Some of those things he cared for grew hatred for him, and some grew loneliness and grief. He couldn’t even think of how his own ninken felt waiting for his return. Their hope of him returning diminishing each day and before they knew it years had passed, and their time was up soon. And even so, they waited until their last breath, hoping he’d say a farewell to them. His own wife who even though suffered from Alzheimer, was able to remember him and wanting to see his face before she left the world. If anything, if he were to see them again, he’d apologize for leaving them and them suffering because of it. If there was any way he could make it up, he would. But, with them gone, what could he do? And then there was anger, because he was angry with himself for making such a choice, but he had no choice but to. He couldn’t ruin the family’s name, and he didn’t want to know or experience what will happen if he were to remain alive. His reputation was ruined after all, because of a choice he had made.
Before he had knew it, tears had hit the jar he was holding in his hand, and he didn’t even realize it. He was crying? Did he even deserve to cry? Quickly wiping away his tears, he looked over at Kakashi. “I wasn’t aware of how much others will be affected when I had committed seppuku. I knew it was going to affect them, but not to this extent. I suppose a simple sorry won’t make things up and whatever I do won’t be enough to show my gratitude. My own ninken waited for me, even if some of them knew I wasn’t going to return, until continued waiting until their own time was up. Even not telling them the situation, they had waited for me. And perhaps wanted to me to say some final words to them, thanking them, before they left. But, they didn’t get hear anything from me in the end. Even though your mother suffered from Alzheimer, she was able to remember me. She may had wanted to see my face once more and have a talk with her before her time was up. Ah, they probably won’t forgive me even if I try making it up to them anyways for what I’ve made them go through. I’m not even sure myself why I’m alive again or even why I’m here now. I’m a dead man, and I didn’t expect a warm welcome back after what I’ve done.”
She kept going knowing her father would follow her. She stormed past the cemetery, not pausing at the graves of her parents, no just her mother now, nor her dear friend. Down the path, little knew of it and stopped abrupt at the lot of graves, the sign reading White Fang Pack - Sakumo Hatake, next to it was the Copy Ninja - Kakashi Hatake. and down the line were more of their family’s ninken graves. all in their own lots. Realistic statues of the dogs stood over each site.A tribute to the dogs that had be comrades and friends for the good portion of their master’s life.
“Did you even remember it?” She shifted away from the single grave in her ninken site’s lot and wondered into her father’s in the middle was a large statue of her father and his pack, a match to the others in the cemetery. Hers did not have one and wouldn’t until after she died. “The third rule of the bonding contract. ‘A pack dies with their master, for they are one and the same heart, one can not live without the others’” She repeated the rule smoothly, her ninken having followed their mistress muttered along, a habit. “They died over time, some faster then others, never in battle. They waited until they got home, to your grave to take their final breathes. Because they stayed true to the promise. But you, you abandoned them.” She growled stroking the head of the nearest tomb, the last of the ninken to die and the one that had been the oldest of the pack.
“I didn’t care that you left me, you were never home and I don’t remember much of you anymore, I suppose I blocked those memories out. You preformed the seppuku so I knew you were trying to regain honor for our family. But mother, mother who couldn’t remember anything because of her alzheimer’s, she remembered you. Perhaps it was because of my features, I look like you after all. But she always asked. ‘Where’s the man with the dogs? He promised he would come back.’ every time I visited her. Do you know how hard it was to tell her every single time that you were dead? Her mind couldn’t remember it, but she didn’t last long after you died. Her heart knew.” She dug in her pocket and tossed him a tiny jar with a little more force then necessary, inside a little origami star. “She made those, every time. They had little wishes on them, I didn’t know until after she died. But that one, that one is yours, I never opened it. I didn’t care, I didn’t want to know, I have hundreds of them, but on the first anniversary of your death she pressed it into my hands and told me to give it to you next time I saw you. I never had the heart to throw it away.”

If he had to explain the reason why he was back, then he couldn’t find one. If he knew, he would had told her, but there was nothing he could say. He even tried finding reasons for being brought back, but in the end he couldn’t find anything. Or more importantly, where to properly start in searching for answers. All he could think was he was given a second chance at life. But, why? After what he has done to Kakashi and the actions he had taken, how could he deserve another chance at life? It didn’t make any sense.
But, he was aware this meeting wasn’t going to be one that was all happy and all that. He knew that there would be that hatred in her if she were to see him again. After all, he was the one who had committed suicide, and basically left Kakashi all alone. How could he properly face her after all she had done? There probably wasn’t anything he could do to make it up either. Not after what he had done, and looking how much they had grown, it would take a lot just to make it up.
Looking at the situation now, trying to communicate with her could be nearly impossible. Eyes had looked at all of the ninken, realizing that they must had been the children of the ninken he originally had, and were given to Kakashi when their time was up, before looking at Kakashi. But, the moment she had left home, Sakumo had went to go after her. She couldn’t run away from this. She had to face the fact he was back and if she didn’t want him to be part of her life, then so be it. There were things he had needed to say to her.
“Kakashi, please wait! I know what I’ve done has caused you to hate me, but please listen to me!”
@puting-pangil stepped into the storm
Kakashi glanced down at her ninken to make sure they were seeing the man in front on her. Their unmoving gazes told her that he was real. A single black eye narrowed before she grunted and turned walking out of the house leaving the door to slam behind her. She stormed off into the night, slamming her ANBU mask right back over her face after pinning her bangs back.
He was supposed to be dead, he left her alone to care for her mother, to gain the respect of his ninken and later inherent their children when it was time for them to retire, they were all gone now, buried near their master. They were supposed to die with him, in battle, and yet they had been alone too. Her ninken were the pups of his, the tradition of her family. She had been alone for so long now, her mother had died a few years after her father, her team mates were gone, her teacher and his wife.
And now her father was back? Just as she was starting to understand what it meant to be alone. There was no way she was about to forgive him. She had just started to actually get used to it. This had to be some sick joke, and she was going to slaughter whoever had pulled it.

Taking the bag, he was sure it wouldn’t be too much of an issue for him. After all, something like this shouldn’t be too troublesome. “It’s nothing. The bag isn’t going to be much trouble for me, so no need to worry.”

“Would you? Thank you I really appreciate it.” Mikoto said holding out one towards the other, there was alot of food in the bags so hopefully Sakumo can handle it, then against he was a much better ninja than herself so she believed so.

“It’s fine, MIkoto-san. Why don’t I help you with carrying those bags, if that’s alright with you?” Even though he was nearly knocked over, he managed to keep his posture. Though, he wondered just what was in those bags to begin with.
+ @puting-pangil

“O-oh! sorry about that Sakumo-san! These bags are heavier than I thought.” She said after managing to almost knock the older male to the ground but somehow she regained her posture.

Oh? Obito had wanted him to teach her? Well, surely they must know how busy he is due to all the missions he goes on. Sometimes he was gone for weeks or months on a mission. Surely, they much had known that.
“Hm? Are you sure that you want me to teach you, Obito? You should understand that I can be assigned to missions at any given moment, and may have little time to actually teach you anything. Though, can I ask why you want me to teach you?”
“Actually sir, I was looking for you.” The little Uchiha stands before him, face lit up eagerly, though there was no hiding the nervous fidgeting of her fingers. “I wanted to ask if you would consider teaching me.”
She figures it’s a long shot, but worth at least asking right?

He was running a quick errand, but currently was caught in the middle of a large crowd. Getting through was quite the trouble enough. And it wasn’t long before he felt weight on his legs, causing him to look down to see the cause. Seeing it was only a child, there was no harm caused to him. Though, it was probably best to see if she was alright.
“Are you alright, miss?”

“But we never spend time together… Do you want something from me? Did someone die and you don’t know how to break it to me? Or is this simple interest?”
“It’s not like that Kakashi. You know, how you and I used to spend time together when you were younger and I wasn’t assigned to any missions. That type of spending time together? Seeing we both have some free time, who knows when we’ll get an opportunity like this again.”

“You’re telling me.” he sighed. “I could probably come up with somethings to do but… like usual… I just like to wing it. I am sure things will come up.”
“I’m sure you’ll come up with something. But, if not, you can always spend some time with your father. I don’t mind spending the day with my son. After all, it’s been awhile since we spent some time together.”

Kakashi should looking at Sakumo, “Yea, turned out to be easier than they let on.” He shrugged. “Which is good. I’ve been needing some time off.”
“At least it was an easy one. Seeing that you’ve been going on a lot of missions lately, you certainly could use some time off. But, I’m guessing that you aren’t sure what to do with this time off since it’s been awhile for you.”

“Father…” Stuff book in pocket to hide it.
Sakumo didn’t see what they were reading, but it was probably best not to ask.
“Ah, Kakashi. You’re back from your mission already?”

Kakashi was lying on the ground waiting, he stared at the ceiling but just closed his eyes, breathing deeply and calmly, his father would be back in a few hours, he just had to rest close the door and wait, after some time it finally happened, he heard the door open and quickly directed towards the door “Papa!” He said even before hearing his father say he was home, quickly grabbing his father’s leg.

He listened to the question, but currently he is concentrated in biting his father, he just wanted to bite something “I was really nice! and I behaved.. And I sleep with them, do you know Gai and his father sleep together ? and Gai told me he was accepted into the academy!… Can I enter too?”
Sakumo listened to the child, but was surprised when Kaakshi had bit him. Was there a reason for Kakashi to bite him all of a sudden? Not to mention, he had just arrived home, not too long ago. The bite had stung, but after some time would pass, that sting would be gone. He just hoped it wouldn’t leave any marks.
Hearing Kakashi mention about wanting to enter the Academy too, he should already know the answer. Sakumo didn’t have Kakashi enter the Academy due to their health, and Sakumo was worried if something would happen to Kakashi if he were to enter, and he was away on a mission. Also, with Kakashi’s health, it would be impossible. “Kakashi, you already know the answer to that. It’s impossible for you to enter because of your health, and if anything were to happen to you and I was away, it could be serious.”
