This dagger is part of the so-called “Turkish Hunting Set” consisting of the Ottoman musket (Walters 51.84) and later European accessories contained within a large Parisian case (Walters 64.104). The dagger fits inside a compartment in the butt of the musket (Walters 51.84). The steel blade is false damascened with gold wire, a technique called “koftgari”, to create foliate patterns and two partly legible Turkish couplet inscriptions. Two long sections of the blade are cut through, so that the middle section stands free and ends in a triangular leaf shaped section studded with gems. The grip, guard, and pommel are gilded silver, set emeralds and rubies, and engraved with abstract designs.

SO HE has been right, which was not all that surprising. They have only come together once thus far, but that one time has been enough to teach him the magnitude of her appetites. Though a lot still remained in the dark for him, the extent of her lust for him, or why it was him who she sought out. Not that he cared right now; - not when he was practically being charged at and pressed up against the wall, head only barely prevented from crashing against stone. He knew her strength to be impressive, after all she was a wraith. To feel it applied to him came hand in hand with pleasure && displeasure. 

The Herald preferred to be in control, but the hungry beast upon him cornered him, gave him to edge to turn the tides. Instead he was practically devoured, pain mingling with pleasure so sweetly. Not when his tongue parted velvety lips, steadily upwards to swirl around the small bud, eager to make it blossom.
