Hi Sarah, how are your feeling that Mune no yukue is covered by FictionJunction ? Do you feel upset ?
Please, for the love of God!!😫 Do people not check my blog at all before sending asks??? You probably don't have any bad intentions but this question definitely has bad timing. Please read my last two reply posts (#1 & #2) and you will know exactly how I feel about the new line-up of FictionJunction divas covering Kalafina's "Mune no Yukue" at the most recent YKL Vol#21 concert.
In short, I am not particularly happy but I am certainly not as upset as some other fans. For the time-being, I am going with "neutral". I am generally just trying to not care too much about this tour. I have little to no interest in any of the singers, no matter how talented they might be. I've only ever been interested in Wakana, Keiko and Hikaru. If they don't sing it, I basically don't care. End of story.
Quick reminder for everyone: I may be a tiny bit curious and check out recordings if they are ever released but I certainly don't need everyone and their mother coming to my blog with detailed live reports of how amazing and much superior the new vocalists are. First of all, it is possible to praise one singer without belittling another. Second of all, it's best to rave about your new-found favourites in spaces where it's actually appreciated. There are more than enough YK fandom spaces that are inhabited by like-minded fans and where everyone is ready to worship the newcomers so maybe engage in discussions with those people rather than trying to "sell" me something that I have zero interest in.
Thank you! It's bad enough that I've already started to low-key resent YK, I really don't want to ever become resentful of Emiko, Joelle or any of the other vocalists. They don't deserve it and I know for a fact that it is something that Wakana, Keiko and Hikaru would not stand for.

Kalafina Time💙🖤🤍
The girls had a get-together again today to share some special "sister-time". Keiko also posted a photo on Yodel indicating that she might have been at the recording studio (she added a "headphone🎧" emoji to her message - could mean nothing of course but hey, a girl can dream). Something is brewing. There's no way they are getting together this frequently without working on something. Please let it be true!! Another event or a release!! I'll take anything!!
Anyway, amidst the current "discourse" it truly heals the heart to see them together like this. I am sure they are aware of what's going on so I feel like they might try their best to provide some comfort to us.

Hi Sarah. Today, I went to see YKL Vol.21. EMIKO took over KEIKO's position in many scenes. At the end, "Mune no Yukue" was performed and EMIKO sang most of the K and H parts. Unfortunately, she forgot some lyrics, but overall she gave a great singing. This song was originally a See-Saw song covered by Kalafina, so Yuki shouldn't be blamed. However, my prediction that K and H (and W) won't be performing with Yuki for the time being has turned into certainty, and I was a little disappointed.
Hi again!
Just got done replying to your first ask from yesterday (just assuming you are the same person because otherwise it would be a huge coincidence. Correct me tho if I am wrong and you are actually a completely different anon XD)
I already address a lot of stuff in that post so I am not sure there's much left to say.
Despite its history, "Mune no Yukue" is most definitely perceived as a Kalafina song by a majority of fans so it's safe to say that they essentially covered a Kalafina song.
But as I mentioned in the previous post, it's something that was bound to happen one day and I am not particularly mad about it, at least not in the grand scheme of things. Again, my view on this matter seems to be misunderstood. I am not necessarily "blaming" Yuki for prioritising her music over the people who spend years bringing said music to life. It's her prerogative as composer to want to focus on celebrating her great work, in whatever way possible. if that means using singers as replaceable commodities, so be it. it's not my personal preference but I've kinda made peace with the fact that this is just her nature...Doesn't make me think particularly highly of her as a human being but it's not like my opinion matters.
If anything, I am blaming Yuki for pretending to fight for a Kalafina reunion, for making her fans actually believe that she was invested in said fight, for making Wakana, Keiko and Hikaru look bad for following their dreams and being willing to do everything for it, for making hoards of fans turn against the girls for daring to take steps that Yuki herself couldn't care less to take, for perpetuating passive-aggressive tactics to keep the feud with Space Craft alive, etc....I hope you get what I am trying to say here.
No one has ever tried to deprive Yuki of the right to cover the music she herself has written, this includes Kalafina's entire catalogue of music. (Not even Space Craft has the power to do that even though they also have some ownership of Kalafina's music.) She's free to perform those songs as much as she wants in whatever capacity she wants, without any judgement. But Yuki has most definitely contributed to and continues to contribute to the fact that the Kalafina members are not afforded that very same privilege. Yes, Yuki has been saying that the girls are free to perform Kalafina music but in the same breath, she has subtly condemned their actions, adding a strong negative connotation to whatever they are trying to do now.
Anyway, enough negativity for one day, I feel like I am already talking way too much about a tour that I was never planning to cover on my blog. What's that saying? Not my circus, not my monkeys. Over and out.

Hello, Sarah. Today I went to see "Yuki Kajiura LIVE". The set list was mainly songs by FJ and FJ YUUKA, and all the songs had Japanese lyrics. (However, there were no Kalafina's songs.) As expected, EMIKO took KEIKO's place. For example, in songs like "stone cold" and "Parade". EMIKO's singing is as good as KEIKO's and deserves praise. Yuki seems to like EMIKO very much. Given this situation, I don't think KEIKO will perform with Yuki again anytime soon.
Okay. Thanks for your input.
Yeah, I saw the setlist on Twitter pretty much right after I had posted yesterday's reply to that question about upcoming YKL news. Already linked to it as well so people have an idea of what's currently being performed.
For clarification, I wasn’t trying to say that Kalafina songs were very likely to be performed during the tour. For the sake of the ask I was simply entertaining a few scenarios that would make a potential home video or TV release interesting to me.
I wouldn't completely rule out the appearance of Kalafina songs in future lives though. My understanding of the tour concept is that throughout its course, they are going to attempt to perform a total of 60 different songs (possibly spanning a majority of different phases from Yuki’s work history). So unlike previous tours, I expect the setlists to change a bit more than usual (typically, only two songs or so are changed between venues but if they wanna reach 60 songs, they will have to make some bigger changes). Kalafina makes up a large part of Yuki’s music catalogue so if their goal is to have a lot of variety and cover as many “chapters” of Yuki’s career as possible, the one or the other Kalafina song wouldn’t be out of place.
But don't get me wrong, I personally would prefer that they DIDN’T sing any Kalafina songs but who knows...I wouldn't like it but it wouldn't be the end of the world for me. Yuki has been known to self-cover a ton of her music without having the original singers available so she can do that for Kalafina as well.
Update: 😂As I am writing this, the setlist for today's Osaka concert has just been posted on Twitter. From what I can tell, they changed four songs and they did actually end up covering a Kalafina song (Mune no Yukue) so yeah, it's just like I expected I guess.
Anyway, yeah, it was clear from the get-go that Emiko was taking Keiko's parts. However, I don't see why you feel the need to say that she was "just as good as Keiko" or that she "deserves praise".
First of all, I find it frankly insulting to equate Keiko's decades-long contributions to what currently is nothing more than two single live appearances. I am sure Emiko did a good job and I wish her all the best but let's maybe not diminish Keiko's hard work and efforts that Yuki herself has praised countless times. While I have so far only heard Emiko in one of Yuki's compositions, I cannot imagine at all how she could ever easily fill the huge hole left by Keiko. But hey, if you feel that way, good for you.
Second of all, some people seem to misunderstand where I am coming from and the kind of point I am trying to make. Just like with Joelle, I do not doubt for a second that these new additions are skilled singers in their own right. Yuki wouldn't have chosen them if that weren't the case. I have never said that any of them don't deserve praise for their skills. So there's no need to come here and remind me that she deserves it. I've also been known to admit that on some technical levels, a few of those singers can be a bit stronger than my girls. My point is that for me, the definitive and best versions will always be the ones performed by my favourite singers. End of story.
And yes, I think we all know that Keiko won't be joining Yuki's live events any time soon. It's alarming though that there's a shockingly high number of fans who don't seem to be sad about that or who seem to enjoy gloating about it but hey, those people can do whatever they want, it's not like I can stop them...just wish they wouldn't do it on my blog...

Hello! First off, thank you for all you've done for fans of Kalafina and YK over the years. I can't imagine all of the performances I never would've seen if not for you. I wanted to ask about future YK lives. Now that it seems Keiko is no longer in the picture, I understand you'll likely not be interested in future lives, which is totally understandable. Would you be willing to point us in the right direction for where we might be able to get/download footage? If not, that's okay. Ty <3
Hello there!
I remember getting a similar ask back when it was first announced that Keiko would no longer be a regular member at the live concerts. However, I currently can't find my reply so I am just gonna make a new post.
I will say pretty much the same thing I said back then.
I am first and foremost a Kalafina fan. I do love a lot of Yuki's music but it's Wakana, Keiko and Hikaru who make it special to me. I am attached to them as vocalists so if they are not part of the equation, I am not really interested in Yuki's activities. I still very much enjoy Yuki's more traditional soundtrack stuff that mostly consists of instrumentals with fancy chorus work but when it comes to regular songs, I am partial to the versions sung by my girls.
Considering the overarching theme of "60 Songs", I am sure that they will perform a lot of my favourites and maybe even a bunch of Kalafina songs In the upcoming YKL tour (which starts today - we already have our first setlist!!) but it won't be the same without Wakana, Keiko (and Hikaru). I barely managed to accept the loss of Wakana's vocals in the FictionJunction line-up but with Keiko gone too now, I cannot imagine ever being able to appreciate those concerts. I know for many fans and for Yuki Kajiura herself, it's just about the music and it doesn't really matter who sings it as long as they are skilled performers but I just don't feel this way. In my head there are so many definitive versions of certain songs with Wakana and Keiko in the lead, nothing will ever compare.
If there's anything that catches my interest (for example, if they end up covering Kalafina songs), then I will most likely make some posts about it because I obviously can't help being a little curious. To be honest, I also couldn't help but check out the newly released FJ song featuring Emiko because I wondered what she would sound like in a Yuki Kajiura context. When her participation was first announced and everyone was saying that she would basically be replacing Keiko, I naturally dismissed the idea quite quickly (her stuff didn't particularly impress me). Now that I've heard her in action in the new FJ song "black rose", I still don't see the vision that so many other fans seem to see (of her ever being able to make up for the loss of Keiko) but she does occasionally have a similar vocal colouration to Keiko so I am at least a little closer to understanding why some people entertain the idea. For me, she is a mixture of Joelle and Keiko, maybe even with some Chiaki Ishikawa thrown in. I can see why Yuki likes her singing but I still prefer Keiko all the way. The song itself is pretty decent, definitely better than whatever those two new Demon Slayer theme songs are supposed to be. It reminds me a bit of "the world", a little more exciting but less epic.
Anyway, I went off on a tangent there for a while, sorry about that. As of right now, we don't know if one of the live concerts is going to be filmed for a release so it's probably pointless to already worry about where to get/download the footage. A likely candidate is the show on August 2nd in Tokyo since it's the closest to Yuki's 60th birthday. I can imagine they will do something special for that (invite some surprise guests or something). It would make sense to record that concert for a future TV broadcast or home video release. If that happens, tons of YK fan-sites/accounts will be providing all the necessary info so I don't think you will really need me and my little blog to help out with that.
Please understand that I prefer to keep my little corner of the fandom exclusive to Kalafina and everything the group's three members are up to.

KEIKO Instagram Live #95
[20250726] KEIKO Insta Live #95 WITH comments
[20250726] KEIKO Insta Live #95 WITHOUT comments
Keiko did a late-night Instagram Live yesterday. It was technically already the 26th in Japan so I am adding it to my archive with today's date.
She wore her cute Powerpuff Girls pjs again (she previously shared a photo on Yodel). It's so freaking cute and I tried to buy it but it's already sold out online T_T When she put her hair in twin-tails, she looked even cuter.
We got a lot of songs during this live. She started out with "Yoru no Uso to" and then continued with "Close to You". This was followed by a closer look at her third brand new song. She already sang parts of it in her 92nd Instagram Live but this time we got a bit more of the lyrics (pretty much the whole song I guess). I am surprised that she hasn't recorded this song yet. We know that she was at the recording studio a few times in the past couple of months so I was sure that she had recorded at least three songs already. Apparently not this one though. She plans to record it in August now that she has slowly perfected it. I still can't believe that we are getting so many new songs. There's no definitive number but in my opinion, it has to be something close to a full album. She is taking a lot of care and doing this slowly to deliver the best possible result to us. Keiko also confirmed that everything is written by herself, this includes the music as well as the lyrics. So proud of her for getting this far creatively. When she sets her mind to something, she's really unstoppable. The final song she sings is her debut single "Inochi no Hana".
She says we can expect some more late-night Instagram Lives in August so YAY for that.

[First Time Handling a Guitar] Opening a gift
Hello, this is Hikaru. Thank you for watching! This time, I received a guitar as birthday present so I thought I'd make a video of me unpacking it and trying to tune it 🎸 Those with experience might find this video very funny 😂 Will there be a next time...? If I were to film another video with the guitar, what would you like to see...?💭 I'll decide after reading everyone's comments🌱
Note: Ohhhhh! Neat!! I am a bit out of the loop so I don't know for sure who gave this to her. It probably wasn't Keiko since it's not a Taylor. My best guess is that it's a gift from HaKA. He often uses this brand of guitar. I think Hikaru's model is THIS ONE here. A reasonable price unlike all the Taylor guitars XD We'll see if Hikaru will also be motivated to start playing properly just like Keiko...I can totally imagine seeing her rock the stage with an e-guitar like that XD

Wakana's Recent Instagram Posts
Wakana shared some more photos from her trip to the “Ghibli 3D Sculpture Exhibition”. initially, she only posted about it in her FC blog post.

hello puts !! can you rate which stone cold live you think is the best to the worst one ? :P
Hi there!
Sorry for the delay, I've been neglecting my asks in recent weeks T_T As for your request, I'll try my best! I think I hesitated a bit to get ti this question because I knew it would take me forever to come up with a good ranking.
First I made an attempt to list all the "officially released" live performances of "stone cold" (Note: This includes audio only like the performance from Kaji Fes. 2023 which was featured on one of YK's BEST OF albumsI I also added the bootlegged recording from YKL#15 because of its pretty decent quality. Last but not least, it made sense to me to include the cover performed by Hikaru and TRUE at ANIMAX). Hopefully I didn't forget any. Here's everything in chronological order (from newest to oldest).
LisAni! LIVE 2024 (4)
ANIMAX MUSIX 2021 ONLINE (10)
Quick disclaimer: I quite like the song and I am very partial to having Wakana's vocals in it, she isn't even the main vocalist for most of the song but love what she adds to the chorus. Without her, it's just not the same for me. I also feel like it took a while for Kaori to get used to singing Wakana's parts. By now she's figured out how to do it so I am starting to like the live performances again but for a while, I didn't really care for them.
I'll start with my favourite, it's a very basic choice but it's the version I always listen to. My (1) is the performance from Kaji Fes.2013 which was included on the album "FictionJunction 2010-2013 The BEST of Yuki Kajiura LIVE 2". It's such a lovely and crisp live audio track, I could listen to it all day. It's actually very high up in my work-out playlist. Next up at rank (2) is their performance from YKL vol#9 (Shibuko Special). I love everyone's energy in this live and they all did a great job. 2014 There's obviously lots of studio magic happening (especially compared to the other live of the tour - see below) but who cares XD Elemental Tour is pretty close behind at rank (3), Wakana in particular was very energetic in this performance.
The first time I got to experience "stone cold" live at a concert was at YKL vol.#15 in Taiwan (pretty much the same as the Hong Kong audio). It was also my first time hearing it without Wakana. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed and also very underwhelmed by Kaori's attempts to sing Wakana's parts. Additionally, it took a while to get used to Joelle's voice (although she did a decent job). Since it was such a mess for me, I would rank it at (9).
The LisAni version from 2024 is by far my favourite "new" performance with the updated lineup of singers. Not sure what it is about it but I enjoy the hell out of it. Rank (4). I feel almost the same about the live performance from Kaji Fes.2023. I am having a blast just watching it so that's a (5) for me. The Highway Star Party version is a lot of fun (Keiko was hyped!) but it's not quite up there with the two lives above. A solid (6) it is. YKL vol.#16 was when I started to get used to Kaori and she was clearly having an easier time with Wakana's parts so let's put it at (7).
The other YKL vol#9 performance on this list did not make it very high in my ranking unfortunately => (8). It's a live stream recording so there's no editing or studio magic. It's really not the best and I rarely watch it. I prefer my lives to be a little more polished but it's nice to have a raw version like this.
Hikaru's cover with TRUE ends up last on my list (10) simply because TRUE's vocals are too overpowering and the song sounds completely different from the usual FictionJunction version. But hey, I still can kinda get into it. It's fun.
Everyone, feel free to provide your own ranking if you like😊
#reply#wakana#keiko#fictionjunction#yuki kajiura#stone cold#hikaru#please don't make me do this again with other songs that have lots of live performances#it's so hard T_T

Hi Sarah, I want to vent a little with you about something. I hope you don't mind. I recently saw that someone said that Keiko, like Wakana, betrayed Yuki and that's why we don't see Keiko at the concerts, I consider that no one betrayed Yuki, I admire Yuki a lot as an artist but lately I feel distant from her, I feel that she was the one who expelled Keiko from FJ I think so because now I believe that she is free to make decisions, this whole dispute is confusing but annoying that they treat
Hi there!
Don't worry, it's fine, I understand your need to vent. Sometimes I get that urge as well. I try to limit my complaining as to not spread too much negativity in my little fandom corner but it can get hard to resist the temptation.
I find it helps to completely ignore those nasty voices that keep uttering bullshit like that. From the very get-go I have blocked every single person who dared to bash Wakana, Keiko or Hikaru for simply living life and making decisions to the best of their abilities (which sometimes involves some mistakes). You cannot blame them for choosing what they think is best for them, for walking a path that aligns with their dreams, wants and beliefs. Nothing wrong about furthering your own interests. Contrary to popular belief, their actions have not taken anything away from anyone (unless you count the girls themselves who have of course had to sacrifice quite a bit to achieve their goal).
Betraying Yuki? What a joke! How can so-called fans see this as betrayal? A minor indiscretion, sure, I can get behind that but why blow the issue out of proportion? If anything, it was Yuki who forced their hand because she didn't fight hard enough for Kalafina. There was just no other conceivable way without risking everything.
You know what? I think Yuki used to be more passionate about the group back in the old days but something changed throughout the years and yes, similarly to what you are thinking, it has made me slowly start to resent her. That everlasting feud between her and Space Craft has definitely corrupted the character of every stakeholder involved to some extent and it has made them all super petty. They don't miss any opportunity to passive-aggressively make each other's lives more difficult, all of which is unfortunately happening at the expense of everyone else who is caught up in the drama (including Wakana, Keiko and Hikaru). One would certainly expect such a behaviour from the old dudes over at Space Craft but Yuki?! I admit I used to have higher hopes in her.
I recently saw someone dig up a tiny part of Yuki's message written for Kalafina's Kadokawa special issue back in 2015 and it's so obvious from even this small paragraph that Yuki had so much more faith in Kalafina. She knew that the group had developed a life of its own and she believed that the Kalafina would surely succeed - even with the members in their 40s and 50s if they just followed their passion and did their own thing. Even if they continued independently without any boundaries from record companies, agencies or even herself. It sounds to me like at some point she trusted the girls to find their way as a group and believed in their judgement.
When the time finally came for the girls to make a decision for themselves, it was met with a lot of backlash instead of support and happiness. Yes, the reunion was facilitated by Space Craft so it wasn't what everyone had wished for but it was the best available option at the time. Yuki reluctantly gave her blessing (if you even wanna call it that) in the end but it was very strongly overshadowed by her knee-jerk reaction to the reunion announcement and the subsequent less-than-ideal handling of the situation. It would have been more appropriate to swallow her unnecessarily hurt pride and look beyond the confines of this stupid feud.
And let's not even talk about the whole public shunning process that has been going on for seven years with Wakana and now continues to be upheld with Keiko/Hikaru. Ridiculous. Beyond petty and childish. I won't go as far as to put all the blame on Yuki because this dispute is a two-way-street but Yuki is certainly part of the problem.

I want to thank you for all the beautiful things you share with me, truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much and thank you so much for loving and supporting my girls so much, Kalafina's music should Being eternal, I don't know if I'm the only one but I miss those days when we had full kalafina content, I miss those precious days
Awwwww!! Thank you for this lovely message! It is very much appreciated 🫶
You are not the only one, I miss those days as well. It still feels like a dream whenever we get some tiny bites of Kalafina content these days. Every like or mention on social media, every blurry photo, it's such a treat and I feel beyond grateful!
I still vividly remember drowning in new content back in the old days, it was often a bit overwhelming and I found myself wishing there would be just a little bit less so that I could have a chance to catch up with all the news.
Now it's basically the complete opposite, I am yearning for more and I get excited about the smallest updates. Crazy how things have changed.
We may never get back to a time like before but that's okay. The girls were insanely busy during their Kalafina days and didn't have any time to do much else. I would love if one day they reached a point where they could have fun focusing on their solo stuff while occasionally getting together as Kalafina. We are far beyond crazy schedules and strict managements, it should be about joy, growth, fulfillment, creativity and interpersonal relationships.

Hi Sarah! I have a question. given that it said Keiko received numerous offer since she left space craft, do you think the current Kalafina fiasco can be avoided if she had join Highway Stars like the others ?
Hello there!
First of all, it is not necessary to send the same question more than once. I am generally very busy so I don't always have time to answer all of the asks in my inbox. Sometimes it takes me several weeks to work through all my drafts. I don't always write answers in chronological order so even though I might have replied to one of your questions already, it doesn't mean I will reply to all of them right away. Please have a little patience with me, I don't think there's any hurry. I try my best to get the quick stuff out of the way and if it's something urgent, I'll also reply as fast as possible. But when it comes to the more general or complicated stuff, I usually save that for a later day...
Anyway, on to your question.
I've actually thought about this topic a lot. Not only in regard to Keiko but also in regard to Hikaru. I've always wondered why the two of them never joined Highway Star, especially Hikaru. At first I thought it had something to do with wanting to be independent as solo artists and paving a path for themselves. It might have felt like cheating if Yuki had basically taken them under her wing again. But then they both ended up working with Yuki on a regular basis (Keiko more so than Hikaru) so there's really no way that "detaching from Yuki" could have ever been a reason for them. It is quite possible that Highway Star was simply not willing to offer them any good opportunities for a solo launch so they initially decided to go with other agencies.
Once you are signed up with a company, you are pretty much stuck with them for a while and when your contract expires, you either stay with them or you don't. In Keiko's case it seems like she really likes her deal with Tristone and they are still willing to manage her so their working relationship continues to prosper. Having Avex as label is also a big bonus so she probably wouldn't wanna give that up.
It's a different story with Hikaru and her first agency Hifumi since for some reason, they weren't able/willing to extend the contract. It's a shame because as we all know, everything went more or less downhill after that. I was sure that at some point after a year or so of struggling as a freelance artist, Hikaru would use the opportunity to join Highway Star but alas, she didn't. No idea if this was her own choice or if Highway Star just wasn't interested in her but maybe it was a mix of both? Highway Star generally doesn't have an issue with taking on former Space Craft clients (e.g. Luna Haruna) but they might just not be interested in promoting/managing too many small solo artists...Let's not forget, Yuki has more of a partnership going on with Highway Star rather than a traditional client/agency employment situation. The same applies to Luna Haruna and Lino Leia. Rito on the other hand used to be one of their regularly managed artists (just like Shuri) but that relationship didn't end particularly well so to me that indicates that Highway Star is focusing on other stuff.
There's also the possibility of the girls actively choosing to stay away from Highway Star in order to leave a door open for future Kalafina opportunities. Due to a variety of presumably shallow reasons, Yasunori Mori left his high position at Space Craft and joined Highway Star as board member. Yuki Kajiura later followed him. As long as there's an ongoing feud between the higher-ups at Space Craft and Mori/YK, it's probably not the best idea for the girls to attach themselves to the very company that would most certainly have driven an even bigger wedge between Wakana on one side and Keiko/Hikaru on the other side. While Yuki may have had a vague interest in bringing the girls back together (or so she claims), it seems like she has never been willing to invest a lot into this reunion so it likely would not have happened with Highway Star having a certain measure of control over Keiko and Hikaru.
At any rate, all evidence points towards Highway Star never having been a suitable option for either of them so it's probably pointless to speculate about "what could have been..."
For what it's worth, if this "fiasco" - as you call it - was the only way a Kalafina reunion was ever going to happen, I am glad that the girls fought for this opportunity despite knowing fully well that they'd have to pay a high price for it. It obviously meant the world to them and it made so many of us incredibly happy, providing a bit of hope for some and much needed closure for others. Mistakes were made and some bad shit happened so naturally, there were some minor regrets but the live in and of itself was still a good thing.

Hello Sarah. Thank you for always posting information about Kalafina. I have a question. Since Yuki Kajiura have officially kicked our girls out of her inner circle, what do you think the chances for our girls to work with Revo ?
Hi there anon!
You are very welcome!
Hmmm...this is a hard question...
First of all I'd like to say that using a phrase like "kicked out" is maybe a little too harsh for what happened. Yes, there's no doubt that the girls are publicly ostracised so they are excluded from live events and connections/interactions on social media are strictly avoided/maybe even prohibited (latest example is probably Kaori's newly launched instagram account - it seems like someone or something is discouraging Kaori from following the girls; at least the other utahimes are not forced to break an existing connection by unfollowing Keiko/Hikaru).
But I do feel like this is mostly for the public eye and has less to do with how everyone involved really feels about the situation. At least that's what I would hope. All these years, I've always had faith that behind the scenes, everyone was getting along just fine and there was no "falling out". With the current situation, I am not so sure about Yuki Kajiura's thoughts anymore. She's very hard to read and I honestly don't know what's going on in her mind...
Either way, I've not given up on the hope that despite everything, the girls are still considered as part of the "inner circle". It's what they deserve and what they have worked very hard for. This public time-out is rough but better times will come somewhere down the line, even if it takes many years.
Anyway, enough with the rambling, let's get to your actual question.
I honestly don't know. A collaboration with Revo would certainly be a good fit for Kalafina but I'd say it's highly unlikely that they would ever work with him. He has collaborated with Yuki and some of her utahimes have been members of Sound Horizon but neither Wakana, Keiko nor Hikaru have any strong connections to him. Yes, Wakana and Keiko were involved in the whole Dream Port project but that was only via Yuki. Unless Revo approaches them with an offer (which he would probably not do due to some sort of loyalty to Yuki), I can't imagine the girls would ever consider working with someone like him.
If they ever decided to release something new, the most likely scenario would probably be a collab with a composer like Satoshi Takebe or someone else who is completely detached from any of the drama. I am sure they would be able to find a few talented people who can add a bit of dramatic flair to new music, something that would go well with Kalafina's overall image.

is the live footage with gold dresses in far on the water album bonus are the exact same footage from red/blue day live BD/DVD ?
I am assuming you are talking about the 2014 Budokan "far on the water" and "ring your bell" performances which were bonus features on the "far on the water" album? These two songs were performed live for the very first time at Kalafina LIVE THE BEST 2015 “Red Day” & “Blue Day” as part of the encore, HOWEVER, they were NOT included in the official home video releases. Instead, the footage was later added as additional content on the limited editions (with DVD/BD) of their 4th studio album "far on the water".
So to answer your question, it is not the same footage.

Hi, so following your previous post about Yuki Kajiura back in charge of kalafina. so, what do you think Yuki Kajiura should have do to prove that her vocalist are easily replaceable ?
Hi there!
Sorry for the super late reply, life has been busy lately.
I also hesitated for quite some time to write a reply because I have no idea what you are trying to say here...As you mention, this is referring to one of my latest reply posts about Yuki Kajiura in which I wrote the following =>
************************************************
************************************************
Something important might have been lost in translation when you sent your question...Taking your ask at face value, all I can say is that I obviously don't need YK to PROVE that her vocalists are replaceable to her. Why would I need that? It's not something that's unclear to me, I actually see it pretty much as a fact. There is already plenty of evidence provided by Yuki herself.
Maybe you are using the word "PROVE" in the wrong context? Or is there a "not" missing in your question, as in "what do you think Yuki Kajiura should have do to prove that her vocalist are NOT easily replaceable"?
In which case my best guess would be that you are actually trying to disagree with the point I am making, so you are probably thinking that Yuki does in fact not see her vocalists as replaceable...? Or you feel like she is already doing more than enough and couldn't possibly do more...
If you feel this way, that's fine of course but I am certainly not the right person to start discussing this matter with. There are many hardcore YK fans out there who are much more suitable for discussions like that.
Sorry, this reply is a mess but I can't offer anything better. I am just trying to work through my drafts.

[LIVE] Sneak Peek at "B-day 2025"
Hello, this is Hikaru. Thank you for watching! This video is a sneak peek at my "Hikaru B-day LIVE 2025 -ROUND-" held on July 2, 2025🔥
Kalafina Get-Together
The girls spent some quality time together today. The above picture is from Keiko's Instagram story. Hikaru shared it in her stories as well and called Wakana and Keiko her "onee-chans"💕 (always so cute). Wakana got the chance to give Hikaru a cute birthday present (a customised comb from Officine Universelle Buly). Now there's also a tweet by Wakana.🫶
I wonder if this means anything...? Are they just having fun or is this something work-related? I am so curious!

[Ministop] What to buy? Part 4 [Convenience store]
Hello, this is Hikaru. Thank you for watching! This time, I have filmed another part in my convenience store series🛍️ I don't have many opportunities to go to Ministop so I picked out some things that caught my eye. They were all delicious😋 Please let me know your recommendations♪

Seven Deadly Sins: 7th Digital Track Released ~ Avaritia
Hikaru’s 23rd digital release is available now! It’s the seventh and final proper track from her concept album “Seven Deadly Sins”. Link: https://linkco.re/mhGVeyMG?lang=en
Avaritia - 強欲 (Greed) 5min 12 Release date: July 17 Lyrics Hikaru Music&Arranged Akira Oishi The story is based on the motif of Noah’s Ark and is grand, somewhat sad and beautiful. Thoughts: In theory, this could have 100% worked for me. Almost all the components are there to make me like it. The verses are quite promising and the bridge is beautiful. However, the chorus is a bit underwhelming, it doesn't have an appealing enough melody that keeps me invested T_T But I am sure hearing this live would make me fall in love with it. So yeah, I think this is the first real hit for me in this album which is kinda sad but oh well...

KEIKO Instagram Live #94
[20250713] KEIKO Insta Live #94 WITH comments
[20250713] KEIKO Insta Live #94 WITHOUT comments
On Sunday, Keiko did another Instagram Live, this time from home but once again with her guitar. She was very talkative and it was overall a very insightful stream.
In the beginning, she shared a little candid story from her past, something she always connects to a certain Blue Impulse air show in Tokyo which she watched many years ago (someone mentioned the recent show in Osaka so she was reminded of the incident). She shares that on the day of the show, her health condition had suddenly worsened so she needed to go to the hospital. However, during that summer, they were doing lots of Kalafina activities and an event was scheduled for the next day. She was advised by her attending physician to cancel the live because a surgery was necessary but she refused to cancel. Instead, she told the doctor to do the surgery quickly without anesthesia so she could be more or less fit the following day. She admits that it was probably a very risky decision and that she kinda risked her life during that event since she could barely walk. But still, when she watched footage of that event, she was surprised by her ability to remain upright and sing with strong vocals. This is something that probably wouldn't happen today since it has become more accepted to cancel events due to health reasons but back then it was a different time and she felt differently about those things. She can talk openly about it now since it's in the past but it was a pretty big deal for her when it happened. It was also the catalyst that made her start to drink water more diligently (in order to avoid many health issues).
Note: Keiko doesn't specify when this happened but I wonder if it was back in 2014 when Kalafina was super busy during the summer months promoting their BEST "Blue" and BEST "Red" album as well as their single "heavenly blue". On August 16, they held one of their many Mezamashi Lives in Odaiba and Keiko had to use a stool for most of the performance (no official footage is available unfortunately, just some short news coverage - see below). Keiko herself claimed that it was a minor ankle surgery (due to a careless misstep) but I wonder if that was just a cover-up story so the fans wouldn't be worried...? Oh well, guess we'll never know.
Then Keiko goes on to explain that for this year's Planetarium Live, she will perform completely new acoustic arrangements for her old songs which is why she is rehearsing so hard these days. You can already tell from the songs she has played during her live streams, that they sound quite different compared to the original versions. Then of course there are her new songs which will also be performed with a special acoustic arrangement. She likes all those new versions a lot more than the older versions so she is excited to sing them. On a side note, she is already thinking about further opportunities for a Planetarium Live so hopefully, we'll get more events in the future.
Interestingly enough, Keiko said that the self-liner notes for her new song(s) in her upcoming fan club magazine will be a first spoiler for the release. I was expecting to have a proper announcement by that point but apparently we'll have to wait a little while longer and the first details will remain fan-club exclusive for a while...She wants her fans to get special treatment and to show us her appreciation so we will get the news before everyone else (she is so adorable when she talks about how much she treasures her fans and how much she is taking care to give us a good time at fan club events and such). We can expect the new magazine to be finished at the end of July/early August (as I predicted). It also sounds as if the songs might be revealed for the first time at the Planetarium Live so maybe we won't get a release until after September...With everything that she is hinting at, it's quite possible that we are getting a new album at some point in the future (or at the very least a bigger release than just a simple single).
Her "sayonara" at the end was super fun. During the last stream, she must have turned off the Instagram Live too early so her "goodbye" was totally cut off but this time, she made sure to properly say goodbye XD
