From the comments "In my experience clothing on anyone looks best when it is done with confidence. We are all different shapes and sizes. I was really struck by your post on dressing well that included John Goodman in a faded t-shirt and jeans. He rocks it!"
Excellent advice, whatever gender or style one is looking for. Thank you
I'm a trans guy and Derek, I can tell you my wardrobe has improved a huge amount simply by reading your threads. The "dress for your body type" stuff never worked well for me; your threads about putting together an intentional look and for getting a good fit - that's 99% of the game.

why bother caring about the environment when 1. Itâs so obviously a lost cause and 2. Thereâs definitely going to be a nuclear war?
And what are you doing about it Anon? Learn about ecological restoration or get out of my way.

Remember "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" ? I feel like there's been a distancing from the "reduce" and "reuse" part and a favoritism towards "recycle" by corporate American.
Capitalism can still thrive with recycling in the mix. You buy Plastic Thing 1, throw it away after one use, and they take that and recycle it into Plastic Thing 2 and sell it back to you. All while continuing to harm the environment.
Reusing puts a damper on things. They can't sell you Plastic Thing 2 when you're still using Plastic Thing 1. Plastic forks, for example- there is literally no reason why you can't reuse plastic forks more than once (aside from maybe microplastics, but it's too late for that)
Reducing is the one everyone wants to ignore. Just don't buy Plastic Thing 1. You don't need Plastic Thing 1. Pick up a set of metal forks and use those for years. Convenience is killing the planet

ive gotta say people on the internet being honest about what they find hot in people's bodies and behaviors has done more for my body image issues than any body-positivity mantra ever. thank you people on the internet for being horny about literally every possible part and variation of the human body and for sharing it

HELP SHIRA SURVIVE A TRANSMISOGYNIST ATTEMPTED MURDER

Shira is a Turkish trans woman who was the victim of attempted murder by a man on the street who realized she was transfemme. After he stabbed her, dozens of people walked by her on the sidewalk until a teenager stopped and helped her.
Shira is now in the hospital in critical condition. Sheâs undergone emergency surgery and will need multiple operations and long-term care to recoverâphysically and emotionally.
Shira has no close family nearby, is not accepted by public organizations in Turkey because she is trans, and sheâs unable to work while she heals. Her friends are raising funds to cover her medical bills, therapy, and basic living expenses during this painful time.
As of me posting this, the fundraiser has âŹ125 out of a âŹ12k goal. If you canât give anything to help a trans woman survive a horrific attack, please at least reblog this, set it on your queue, whatever you need to do to make sure others can see and help. Thank you.

my radical belief is that the disabled and the elderly should be paid at least the average cost of living, regardless of the life they lived. regardless if they ever worked or what work they did or if they were responsible with their choices in life or not
#& if you canât work benefits are below minimum wage as well#& may be affected by marrying or living with someone#the details differ by country but. i havenât met a disabled person who hasnât struggled with this
