DAY 22: Remilia Rosa Graupner & Thorne (The One Within the Villainess)

NICHE SERIES BLAST. This series is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine… The art goes CRAZY and I've seen the main character compared to a female count of monte cristo so you can tell where this is going probably. I love how Remilia is unrepentantly a liar and a manipulator. She doesn't believe anyone could love her for anything but her fake mask of "Emi" (but also never addresses this because rightly so, she IS using this facade to get on everyones' good sides) in her eyes, Emi was perfect. The only one who loved her and nurtured her for their whole lives.

The story is wrapping up pretty soon, so I'm hoping there's a bit more before the end where she finally shows everyone her true self :,) IF FRIENDS DON'T ACCEPT YOU AT YOUR GIRLBOSS GASLIGHT GATEKEEP THEN ARE THEY REALLY YOUR FRIENDS. Remilia the world. Give us everything queen.

The whole main cast is hilarious, but I DO LIKE MR SHOPKEEPER OVER HERE ALSO. Goddamn cute ass moe man. Objectively just a Normal Guy but he tries so hard to keep up his facade of a heartless merchant… he's so bad at it though he gives so many fucks. Lost the idgaf war badly.

He and Remilia are the unexpectedly funny duo where he gets hopelessly swept up in her plans, but has unwavering faith in her ability to move mountains… Honestly I feel like he might be the one who knows the "villainess" Remilia the best. She always does her best to show everyone else "Emi's Remilia" but she’s only really shown a sharper edge in front of him and the goddess of flame. They're cool <3
