Reader vs OC
Currently writing my first fanfiction after a long time. It's going to be an insert long, slow burn fanfiction and I need some opinions.
I was going for x reader, but my writing tends to follow a more in depth style that I think is OC territory. I like to flesh out characters, give backstory etc.
How much detail is too much detail for x reader? Not talking about physical description here, but character and backstory.

Looking for a Daryl x reader series, it was a re-write of the show with a reader insert(not OC, Y/N type of insert). So far, i've found two series but they are not the one i'm looking for. It was an older one, I think up until season 8 which was back then on air. The only memorable thing I remember from it was that there was smut only in one chapter and then it was actually adressed that reader and Daryl didn't have sex after that due to all that was going on. If anyone knows what i'm talking about or has any recomendations for reader insert Daryl series that could match pleeeease let me know!
