and Madou Monogatari/Witchcraft Saga/Sorcery Saga and Disc Station too! This blog is dedicated to providing easy access to no longer commercially available media, Promotional material, and assest of Puyo Puyo related media. Just not the games themselves (except Disc Station stuff), search elsewhere. This is a fairly formal blog, it will not joke around with the findings. It'll seriously share them. You may goof around with them on your own blog or whatever else all you want though(, we certainly will).

Do Web Pages Last Forever?
Hello, everyone! Long time no see. 2020 was five whole years ago!
I failed my mission. I am now 22 years old. Let’s talk about that. This’ll be balls to the wall rambling, but I have always wanted to confess this. I just didn’t know the right time. It was deeply embarrassing to me. However, my computer is in for repairs, whatever I saved might be lost to me.
Flash being discontinued was a devastating loss for archival purposes. And five whole years ago, I was a teenager. I was 17, and wanting to save something that was important to me, an autistic teenager didn’t want to handle the change and was scared it’d be lost forever.
Unfortunately, being 17, I didn’t exactly have a… plan. It was honestly a little exciting, I literally just made the Mod Raffina moniker to be cool. I thought the anonymous mod thing would make me focus. It didn’t.
My mental health makes me very forgetful, especially about who I am as a person, and five whole years ago was five whole years ago. So I do not remember my journey here at all. Only bits and pieces. I may as well be a different person. So riddled with executive dysfunction after my initial burst? I let the blog go. I always wanted to return, always wanted to spread my special interest, but the executive dysfunction always won. I don’t have an answer for this. I’ve been wanting to write this for five years now. It’s only now that I’m in computer hot water.
I also didn’t understand archival. I never backed up my files. Never put them in a different place. Possibly a USB, if memory serves, but I don’t remember where I put it. I only knew how to save PNGs, really. I wasn’t serious about archival, even though I tried to be for the brief time I did so.
What does that mean for this blog?
Well, nothing, really. I will keep this blog up until the last possible moment. Whether tumblr blows up, my main blows up, or we all get sent to an alternate dimension where little girls blast you with magic powers and squishy slimes. The same with the YouTube I don’t believe I ever promoted. Um. Oops. Gosh. Look at that description. “Aren’t very tech savvy” No, little Mod Raffina. You don’t have a credit card.
So I want to thank actual archivists. Flashpoint for actually saving the games. And @puyopreservation for being actually serious about this to this day. Thank you for helping little autistic me back in the day. I hope, however how brief and little, I was able to help you back.
So, we’ll meet on our spacetime journey another day, Puyo fans. I hope this blog helped out.
—Mod Raffina, @heavenlysphere.

I don’t think to my knowledge that any of the renders used on the JP box art of Fever are available officially in their original colors (the colors that each of the characters use in game and promotional materials because they do exist but are locked in a white box and have washed out colors). Is that true?
Not that I'm aware of either.

Are you aware that a PC build of the original unreleased NAOMI version of Pochi to Nyaa has been released by Moo Niitani himself for 2000 yen? And that it potentially has subtle differences from the released PS2 and Neo Geo MVS versions of the game? This is important because it is the final game OG Compile was working on before their bankruptcy, and it shares some original Puyo staff as well. YouTube channel "COMPILE-O コンパイル〇" should have the release trailer if you're interested.
We were not aware of that. Let us help spread awareness.

Recently got my hands on physical copies of Madou Monogatari 1-2-3 (MSX2) and A.R.S., I've been looking for ways to play my physical copies directly without buying a MSX Console. I do have a USB Floppy Disc reader. Any suggestions?
I couldn't help you with that, I'm afraid.

TYPEDAPUYO Datarips
Hiya, I’ve noticed that the wanted list has Typing da Puyo Puyo to be datamined. Anyway I’ve found a tool that can extract various file formats pertaining to Macromedia/Adobe Shockwave/Director, that being DirectorCastRipper. Using that I was able to extract everything inside the that TYPEDAPUYO’s data folder. Within the archive linked below you can find every sprite, sound file, music file, and then some files that I didn’t really care about like the .csv and .htm but included anyway just in case (some like Members.csv suggest file names, so it’s worth perusing through those perhaps). https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/hqbowy29d48idwn67v40e/rips_typepuyo.tar.gz?rlkey=km9ip6uwfrql2us3crvgykkze&st=qj7mwe5s&dl=0 Anyhoo, hope this reaches you! Cheers!

Do you guys (or anyone else) have any rips of the voices from WWPD? I remember downloading some PPF PC mods that had those voice clips, but this was over a decade ago and the I website got them off of is long gone.
We don't, and I'm not sure where to find them.

Do you have the Compile Club calendar artworks and where would I find them in the drive?
Best luck of finding it is in (Puyo Puyo Scans) -> Compile Club.
I hope that works?

Do you plan on adding the manual pdf scans found in the "Chou Kyuukyoku Taisen" collection, if you have access to them?
If I had them of course.

if you’re interested, I’m sure it’s in my history. I’ll have to find it. Did you know there is a video on YouTube by the creator of the Puyo Puyo characters drawing one live showing how he does it from nothing to sketch to full graphic.
Please show.

Hello! Are there any English language resources on Puyoket Party, the supposed Puyo Puyo convention held in Japan in years 1999-2004? There's an article about it on Japanese Wikipedia (ぷよけっとぱーてぃー). Thanks!
Not that we're aware of.

Hi! I was messing around with the Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon Saturn CD Image and managed to find two screensavers, one of Arle and one of Kikimora. I was wondering if you had these in the archive?
I don't think so? We'd love to have them.
