Repost from @myketotribepv • Who needs a new dinner recipe?!? ❤️ UNSTUFFED-Peppers! 🌶 * Olive Oil extra virgin 2 tbsp. split into two portions * 2 lbs Ground Beef * 1 large Red Pepper chopped pieces * 1 large Green Pepper chopped pieces * 1 bag Riced Cauliflower frozen 10 oz * 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese grated * Garlic Cloves 2 cloves minced or garlic salt * 1/2 Red Onion chopped * Rao’s low carb sauce 24 oz. * 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning * 1 tsp fresh Pepper * 1 tsp Salt 1. Heat a cast iron skillet (or any other type of skillet) on medium high heat. While the skillet is getting hot, microwave the frozen riced cauliflower per the directions on the bag, and once finished, set aside. 2. In the hot skillet, add olive oil and ground beef and mix. 3. Cook the beef until it’s brown stirring frequently. 5-7 min. 4. Remove the browned beef from heat, drain the grease and set the beef aside to be added later. 5. Return the skillet to the range, and resume heating it at medium high heat. 6. Add the second portion of olive oil to the skillet and add the peppers, onion and garlic. Sauté the mix until it becomes translucent or soft. 7. Now add the marinara, cauliflower, ground beef, pepper, salt, and Italian seasoning. Stir well. 8. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer uncovered for 12 minutes allowing the mixture to reduce. 9. Now adjust the heat to low and top with mozzarella cheese. Cover the skillet until the cheese is melted. 10. FINALE: Garnish with red pepper flakes, chopped green onion and peppers! 11. Repost from @myketotribepv • Lemon Chicken Piccata {Paleo, Whole30, Keto} Ingredients 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded to 1/2” thickness (or purchased thin-sliced) Sea salt and black pepper to taste 3 Tbsp blanched almond flour * 2 Tbsp tapioca flour 3 Tbsp ghee divided 4 cloves garlic minced 1 small onion chopped (about 1/2 cup) 1 cup chicken bone broth Juice of 1 lemon about 2 Tbsp 1/2 cup coconut cream blended before using (the cream is the thick part of a chilled can of coconut milk. It can also be purchased separately 1 1/2 tsp stone ground mustard optional** 1/4 cup capers drained Sea salt and black pepper to taste Instructions Pound your chicken breast to 1/2” thickness, if necessary, and cut into cutlets. Season with sea salt and pepper on both sides. Heat a large skillet over medium/medium-high heat. In a shallow bowl, mix together the almond flour and tapioca* for dredging. Add 2 Tbsp of the ghee to the skillet. Once the ghee is heated, lightly dredge the chicken, one cutlet at a time, in the flour mixture, shake off the excess, and place in the skillet. Cook about 4 minutes on each side to cook through. The outside should be golden brown - adjust the heat if you need to to avoid over-browning. Remove the chicken to a plate and set aside. Lower the heat to medium low and add the remaining ghee. Add onions, cook for a minute until translucent, then add the garlic. Cook and stir another minute, until softened. Add the broth and lemon juice, then raise the heat to medium and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Cook for 3 more minutes, then stir in the coconut cream and the mustard (if using). Cook and stir another minute, then stir in the capers. Add the chicken back to the skillet, lower the heat to a simmer and simmer another minute. Serve over sautéed cauliflower rice or veggie noodles. Enjoy! Melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add garlic and the raw, shelled shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle the cajun spices over the shrimp. Stir well so it is evenly coated. You are looking at the last of their kind: men who risked all fighting for the Republic of Texas. This 1906 photograph was taken at Fannin Park in Goliad in 1906. That was the last annual meeting of the Texas Veterans Association. The cannon upon which they rest is known as Col. Fannin's Cannon. It was used at Coleto Creek by the men who were massacred under Santa Anna's order. The old cannon is still there today, only it's mounted on a concrete base. You have your own picture taken with it.
